We just spent three nights at this property.
Unfortunately we stayed at the Barrington during the season of the Bus People,
Bus season in Branson runs during September, October, and November.

This was our first visit. When we showed up for our free breakfast we
found chaos in the breakfast lounge. There were over 150 folks milling around.
They came from three different buses staying at the Barrington.

This property would get a higher rating because it has been updated and it is quite nice.
The front desk clerks were very friendly. Sherrie helped us with some restaurant suggestions.

The breakfast consisted of dry cereal, hard-boiled eggs, sausage patties, SOS, oranges,
pears, toast, bagels, and grits.
We skipped breakfast next time due to the hassle.
The property is located in a quiet area away from the 76 Strip.

We used the fitness room and the pool and hot tub. They were all great.
No king size beds at this property and no microwaves in the room.

Room Tip: Top floor. Check for bus activity prior to booking.

My wife and I stayed two nights in the Barrington’s Presidential suite and enjoyed our time there very much. The single room suite was large and airy with the usual amenities, e.g., microwave, fridge, granite countertop with sink, coffee maker, etc. And what Presidential suite would be complete without the large corner jacuzzi with wrap around mirrors and towels shaped as swans? The king size bed was tastefully appointed and very comfortable. The air conditioner was quiet and did its job well. The only disappointment was the bathroom. It’s as if the decorator left the building without finishing the job. It was clean and roomy but totally without the eye appeal that you might expect in a Presidential suite. The bathroom ceiling was low and not well done. However, the biggest bath room negative was that it was without an exhaust fan. The Continental breakfast area is located on the third floor which is really more convenient than the usual first floor lobby area. The breakfast choices were ample and well presented. It was attended at all times by courteous staff. The hotel is located between two busy traffic corridors but far enough away to provide a quiet environment. The facility accommodates a lot of bus tour patrons which are well cared for and managed by the friendly hotel staff. Despite the few negatives, there is definite value at the Barrington and we will stay with them again.

Room Tip: Call the hotel for rates and room info instead of reserving on the internet. It may save you a few...

My husband and I stayed for three nights on Sept.29th and the hotel was nicer than we expected as we are used to staying at a Hilton or Wyndham, but it was pretty clean. Bed's were very comfortable. The breakfast was not all that good, we ended up buying our own breakfast. Our only real set back was on our last night there the hotel issued someone our room keys and they came into our room as we were sitting in bed watching TV.

We stayed at the Barrington for one night to celebrate my husband's birthday. Check-in isn't until 3 but we arrived around 1 and called to see if our room was ready and they had a room available for us early. The hotel is clean and updated from top to bottom. Our room had comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, and a quiet AC. The employees at the front counter were super friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but peeked in and weren't grossed out - so I take that as a good sign! The hotel isn't on the main strip which makes it easier to navigate around since you're not stuck in traffic the entire time. We will definitely be back again next year.

Room Tip: Make sure to mention if you've stayed at the Barrington before. We did and received a 'loyal...

Very clean and welcoming hotel. Indoor pool was nice with a hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but I could not ask more for the money.

My girlfriends and I needed a Girls Weekend. As what girls do...our weekend was spent on SHOPPING! Where to shop? You must check out the Tanger Outlet Stores and The Landing. I've stayed at the Barrington before, but this would be my 1st review. All I can say is this stay was better than the last. The reason was before, they were renovating the hotel. The hotel then seemed dingy and old. Now, it's newly renovated and fresh. It even smelled good when we first walked in. The front desk was friendly and hospitable. They greeted us with smiles and seemed to really be accepting to have us as their guests for the weekend. There is ample amount of parking at the front and back of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel also serves free breakfast, but be early or you won't have much food to eat. It seems that 1 hour before they close the hospitality room, they don't refurnish food. This hotel is not on the 76 strip but we were very close to it. It was good not to hassle with the traffic on the strip. Try to avoid the strip and use the other routes if you can help it. If you want to be adventurous... go ziplining! Use the Branson Zip Tours, which is located "outside" of Branson and not "in" Branson. The tour "in" Branson seems boring. Who wants to zipline and see tops of buildings? As for the Branson Zip Tours, you zip above tree tops. We chose the "express" zip which is their longest line. However, be ready because at the end of the line, the only way down is to jump 100-feet free fall. We were scared at first, but it wasn't really that bad. Yes, you seem to be jumping off a plank on a ship, but it was exhilarating! Also, don't miss the Dixie Stampede! It's by far my most favorite show on the strip. As for food... Joe's Crab Shack!

Room Tip: The hospitality room where they serve breakfast is on the 3rd floor. I would avoid it if I were you...
