My spouse and I stayed at this campground Nov 28-1 Dec 2013. We had visited several campgrounds during our visit in Oct. We selected this particular one for the way it was laid out, but also by the reception we received when we stopped at the desk for information.
I think this is the right place for us and I believe it would be the right place you anyone. There were a mix of older RV campers and young families. The sites were just far enough apart not to be a nuisance to your neighbors and there were several roads that made our space feel open instead of closed in and claustrophobic. Our rig is 40 feet and we hauled a Toyota pickup truck. The space was long enough to keep the trailer hitched and park the Toyota Tacoma in front of the RV. There was a dedicated picnic table on a concrete slab and a small grill. THe wi-fi was surprisingly fast and was included. The cable was also included but we couldn't manage to get it connected (our end, not theirs). We did receive five stations via antennae so hubby could watch football. I don't know if it is standard but they gave us two tickets to one of the shows. We also won two tickets to a different show during a daily drawing (they were kind enough to make sure everyone that was staying was included - we had not even arrived yet!) and that should say a lot about how they are paying attention to details. Each day a name was drawn and tickets won by someone at the park. Close to city (3 minutes), well lit at night, very clean and tidy. I highly recommend this park if you are going to Branson. We have already decided this is the one for us. Happy Camping!
