We stayed here 3/31/07 based on the #1 rating on Trip Advisor. I'm not sure why this place would be ranked so high. It is an older (60's?) property that needs an upgrade with carpet, paint, etc. The rooms have no coffee maker or refrigerator. The free breakfast is just as bad as most places. It certainly was cheap ($55), and the people were all nice enough, but there are much better places.

We just returned from a 3 ngt stay at the Cascades Inn of Branson. The Hotel is an older one, like many others in the area, but is in excellent condition. Don't expect a new facility and furniture. The rooms were well kept and cleaned beyond expectations. The staff at the front desk were polite and informed and always were ready to help. This being the "off" season we got a great nightly rate.

The hotel has an indoor pool and whirlpool which was very nice and provided plenty of towels without having to bring them from the room.

The only negative, and its not uncommon even with the higher priced hotels, was being able to hear the outside hall noise and traffic. However, it was nothing that would prevent us from staying again. The location is a plus, it is close to the strip and other attractions.

Overall, this is an above average hotel. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return trip to Branson and the Cascades Inn. The price and quality can't be beat.

This hotel was excellant! The rooms were clean, the staff was as gracious as the could have been, and the price was unbeatable. There are a lot of extras too, like the indoor pool, fridge in room, and great breakfast. The location off the strip was a blessing because it keeps you out of traffic!

From the time I called to make the reservation the staff was great. Upon check in we asked the front desk if they knew of any good places to eat. We were given several places and a great map of Branson to get us there. The staff was great as well as our room. Everything was very well kept. I will stay there again on our next visit to Branson

We stay here every year. We take our two kids ages 8 and 5. They love the pool and hot tub and so do we. The elevator is glass so you can see out of it down over the pool. The kids like that as well. The pool has great access from every room we have stayed in. The service is great. Location is great. Best of all, the price is great. It has a game room with a pool table, arcade games, and vending. This place is just right. It's not usually too crowded, but in the summer it does fill up. Also, it does not have a fridge and microwave. (At least it didn't last time.) But again, when we're in Branson we don't spend much time in the room. Stay here and save your money for other fun stuff!

The Cascades Inn is a very friendly place to stay. It is off the main road so you are out of the traffic but close to everything. The rooms we had (204 and 206) plus others on another floor, were clean and nice and large, even though they were not brand new. The king size bed was comfortable and the room quiet, and also dark at night like I like. There was a tiny nite light in the bathroom that was perfect if you needed to get up at night---just enough light--- but not too much light to keep you awake. The Jacuzzi tub was great and the bathroom was large. The inside pool and hot tub were very nice---also not crowded, and open till midnight. My husband enjoyed the exercise room. You had to use your room key to enter the exercise room. The continental breakfast was great! Very clean and stocked well. Fresh doughtuts, bagels, hot and cold cereal, toast, boiled eggs, fruit, coffee, tea, juices, etc. The hostess was very friendly and nice. The front desk clerks were nice too, and helpful with information about the Branson area. The lobby had a pretty relaxing rock waterfall and tables where we played cards with others from our group, while we waited for everyone to gather for our outings. All in all it was a good pick for our six day stay. I would stay there again when visiting Branson.

When I go to Branson, I always stay here. There are so many good things to say about this place. The staff there has always been friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel makes it easy to get around Branson since it is not located on the main strip but instead on a road parallel to it. This will save you a lot of time and frustration because you don't have to sit through the traffic jam that you'll usually find on the main strip. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They also have a large indoor pool that is great for kids. They have a nice breakfast room with many different things to choose from. I can't think of anything bad to say about this place. If you are looking for a clean, quiet hotel that's close to everything, then this is the place.
