Was glad we found this place on the web. It is in Branson just not on or even off the main strip. Head down to old banson, then cross over the bridge of Tanecomo Lake then 5min on Lake Shore Dr. And you are there. We were in cabin 16 just across from the nice clean pool but had a great view of Tanecomo and the boats (big and small) going by also. Each evening a nice size fire was started in the fire ring and we roasted marshmallows with our 4year old granddaughter. Nice and simple playground area for her to play on. Volleyball net up with ball just waiting for teams to play, half court basket ball court also. We didn't fish but we still had a nice time just sitting on either of the docks. We were there for 4nights and enjoyed every minute of relaxing.
We chose this place because we didn't want granddaughter being "in the parking lot" all the time as you will feel like your are on the strip. Cabin 16 had a queen size bed and a twin in the same room and a hide-a-bed (not sure queen or full) in the main room.
Full kitchenette with great oven that we cooked half of the large walmart pizza in on 2 nights.
You will need to bring all your own food stuff but the kitchen is supplied with basic cooking and eating cutlery. I did buy a few things from the dollar store to make our stay a little more handy and left them for the next folks to enjoy. Charcoal grills at each cabin if that's what your want to do also. Going to one of the shows and then coming back to the quite "woods" was really nice and drinking morning coffee on the deck or walking to a bench by the lake was wonderful also.
Last, please do not expect the Hilton or even the Holiday Inn BUT with that being said if you want quite and access to all that Branson offers this is the place to consider. We will return next time with more of the family and go with a bigger cabin (yep they have those too)
Only thing that I told Amanda and Adam that I got to enjoy that others didn't was cabin 16 had a sliding door with a screen to enjoy the cool temps with the door and window open.
