I stayed in unit # 410 for 5 days; 11/15 - 11/20/2013. (I write this as I am about to leave). 15 seconds inside the room, I saw there were issues. A housekeeper left a bottle of cleaning fluid on the kitchen counter top, and a dirty cleaning rag on the bathtub curtain rod. A used, diirty bath towel from the previous guest was hanging behind the bathroom door. The unit is suppose to have 4 sets of towels; this unit had 2. I opened the bathroom vanity door and saw about 12 dead bugs laying there. I called the front desk for more clean towels and for someone to clean up the dead bugs. There were problems with the shower: there was barely any water pressure coming out of the showerhead and most of the water was spraying out of the bath tub faucet. I don't know how a housekeeper could properly clean the bathtub with no water pressure coming out of the showerhead. The lights below the microwave did not work. The kitchen floor was dirty and sticky. The bedspread on the bed stunk and it probably hasn't been washed in about 6 months. The dresser was so beat up it looks like something bought at a rummage sale. The living room furniture is a miss-matched mess: it is worn out and looks dirty. There are very little decorations in the room. There is no radio to listen to. The resort claims to have a state-of-the-art fitness center but, according to the employee at the front desk - actually is a bunch of old fitness machines that they bought ... They don't even have a treadmill. So upon my arrival, I spent about the first hour getting things fixed. These are the things that house keeping should have cleaned or should have had fixed by maintenance. Obviously, housekeeping here lacks and there are no inspections by a supervisor. It also seems the employees don't wear a uniform shirt unless the owner is at the resort. The employees that brought me clean towels and fixed the shower looked like regular people off the street. Once things were fixed, it was not too bad of a place to stay at. It is a good location located near the Mansion Theater. If Iwas a timeshare owner, which I'm not, and I had traded my weekly timeshare for this place, I would have been very disappointed. The Foxborough Resort would be a better place if it was just properly cleaned, iinspected, and maintained.
