Owner description: The Legendary Sons of the Pioneers are "the premier Western singing group of all time" (as described by the Western Music Association). Elected to Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame , the National Cowboy Hall of Fame, the Western Music Hall of Fame, the Texas Swing Hall of Fame and designated a "National Treasure" by the Smithsonian Institute, the Pioneers have become as legendary as the American West they represent. Their original songs "Cool Water" and "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" have been placed in the Grammy Hall of Fame. Many of their other songs, such as "Ghost Riders in the Sky", have become forever entwined into the very fabric of the West. The show features the unique vocal harmonies for which they are world famous. With a sprinkling of cowboy humor their yahoo type show is perfect for all ages.

Boy if this does not take you back down memory lane nothing will. Remember Roy Rogers and the Sons of the Pioneers on Saturday morning westerns. Great show, I even saw some young folks there and they seem to enjoy the show. I do not know if they were lost or what.

This is the best value in Branson. Great Food, Great music, Great setting! This is our second visit to this dinner show and we will come again. From 4:15 to about 7:30.
Corn of the cobb, 1/4 chicken, beef brisket, pork & beans, ranch fried potatoes, apple cobbler! WOW! The group is great and the music brought back memories of the old cowboy shows of the 50's and 60's. Even though the day had been in the high 90's, the breeze through the open arena was great. My wife does not like "country/;western" music, but she enjoyed this show both times. there were a lot of 60's plus people, but, also a lot of younger and some families.

The dinner show with the Sons of the Pioneers was everything a western music fan could hope for in a show. The dinner was great (bbq brisket and 1/4 chicken and fixins') and the show even better. The 'Sons' sang for an hour, then took a 20 minute break and came back for another hour of western favorites. Although the members may have changed over their 79 years, you can close your eyes and still here the same songs from your younger years. Will definitely go to this show again next time in Branson!!!

We went not knowing what we were in for. Turns out the group Sons of the Pioneers perform at the place next to Uncle Matt's Cabin on Shepherd of the Hills. The chuck wagon style dinner is very good and served in a large open air building (no air conditioning-just like the old days). The stage is forward of the dining tables. The songs go way back and the group is the longest performing musical group in the US. Roy Rogers was a former member of the group. Ghost Riders in the Sky and many more memorable songs performed by a spot on vocal group who play guitars, fiddles, violins, clarinet, and base. Servers are very good.

The day we went it was super cold outside and pouring down rain. I thought well...there goes the show...but I was pleasantly surprised that the little outdoor type theater they had was covered with tarp like material and very well heated....most of the time. The heat kept turning off and it would get cold in there and the heat would kick back in and it was really cozy again.

The food was sooo good. Good chicken, corn, bbq, they also had baked beans, which I don't like any baked beans but my parents loved them. And a dessert...plus lemonade, tea, and coffee.

The music was good...I mean they are talented people...but I got bored very quickly. All the songs sounded the same. Come intermission we decided to leave because we had another show later that night and we were bored. If you are a die hard cowboy fan you'll probably like this more than I did. But it was just on the sleepy side for us.
