We discovered this place on a Tuesday. They aren’t open on Tuesday, but the folks were so charming, we knew we’d come back. The next day we were back, and so was everyone else. Even with that we were seated after a very short wait. While waiting I chatted with a group of local ladies who get together to eat out in the Branson area. One lady told me of the Bradford “It’s the best place.” She didn’t say in Branson or even in Missouri. Just the best place, period. We didn’t eat everywhere because once we ate at Bradford, we were hooked! We came back for lunch the next day and the day after that. They’re open Wednesday through Saturday. And they’re so charming. They remembered us and, on the less busy days, took time to chat with us. It’s a family and you’ll feel like part of it.
Our group of seven had a variety of entrees over three days; among us we may have covered the entire menu and everything was superb. I had the chicken and fruit salad. It’s so addictive I had it all three days. And I had a drink that’s like a Shirley Temple. One in our group thought the mango tea could have been stronger, but she ordered it again and again. The deserts are to die for! Our group paired up and split deserts and most of us had the Bradford Boat Sinker. If you like chocolate, you’ll love this! They start with a chocolate chess pie, topped with mocha or vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream which is sprinkled with tiny chocolate chips, then drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce. Heaven! Not a chocolate fan? There’s lots from which to chose. Our group also liked the key lime pie, the rhubarb pie, the éclairs and, well, everything. The thing our group misses most, having come home, is The Bradford. It really is the best place.
