“Poor customer service”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2013

If you want honest and friendly customer service don't stay here! We have stayed here many times in the past, I saw the price advertised on their website but this is not the price they would give me! They lost a loyal customer and I don't think they care. They were very rude and didn't offer to budge or do anything to make up for the fact that they falsely advertised. Will not return.

I loved this inn! The location was close to everything. The rooms were very clean and quiet, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was great! The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've ever had and there were plenty of delicious side items too. I will definitely be staying here again!

I booked this Inn because of the reviews and the indoor pool, and stayed 3 nights with my Daughter and 2 Grandchildren, ages 5 & 10. We had a 2 Queen bed on the top floor (requested), with a fridge and microwave (very handy with children), a large vanity outside the bathroom (a must). The room was large and very clean, the beds were super comfortable, the towels were white and fluffy, the bathroom was large enough, and clean. Breakfast was good with biscuits and gravy, great donuts, good tropical fruit, toast, bagels, cereals, 2 juices, coffee and hot chocolate. Bob works the Breakfast room and was super, as we came in very late on Sat. night from visiting with Family, and my Grandchildren were still sleeping at 9:30, when Breakfast ended, so Bob suggested that I double stack trays with milk cups on the bottom, and take them Breakfast to enjoy when they woke.
The only negatives were: the shower faucet was loose and hard to regulate and Housekeeping did not leave coffee or cups in the room on the third Morning.

Room Tip: The rooms on the top floor are quieter!

This is a very nice place....great free breakfast every morning, great hosts and very clean rooms. I would recommend this to anyone. We would definitely stay here again. The housekeepers were there everyday to refresh everything. They have a pool which looked very nice, but we never had time to use it.

The Carriage House Inn is a lot of hotel for the money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good and hot, and the heated indoor pool is nice. All the staff is friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Branson.

We booked two rooms at the Carriage House Inn for the 25th, 26th, and 27th of September because the reviews at the expensive hotel I wanted to stay at were terrible and those at this Inn's were great; it was the best decision we made for the entire trip. My two main requirements were comfortable beds and cleanliness. The beds were wonderful, the plump pillows were soft, and I couldn’t find any dirt - even though I looked for some! The parking lot and hallways were even clean. We peeked into the laundry room, it was spotless, too. The Inn had several darling & clean sitting areas on all the levels for anyone who needed to smoke.
The pool was spotless and in the cutest building; the water was warmed to a wonderful temperature. I liked the fact that it was in a separate building as you couldn’t hear any noise in our rooms from the children playing. Of course, when a pool is indoors the children playing will sound loud inside the pool house, but what a beautiful sound. The pool is open early until 11:00 p.m. We simply timed our swims when there were no children in the pool. In fact, we had the pool to ourselves for over an hour every time we went. Without an indoor pool there would have been no swimming this time of year. Extra towels were available at the front desk for swimming.
We requested refrigerators and a microwave for our rooms. Both were provided at no additional cost. They also provided free wireless internet for the rooms. The expensive hotel I had planned to stay at charged additional for these luxuries.
They provided an ironing board and iron, hair dryer, coffee maker and coffee in each room, just like a five star hotel. They had nice sizes of shampoo, body soap, and even had body lotion. They also had toothpaste in the lobby in case you forgot your own.
On two separate mornings, as we walked to breakfast, we were surprised to see that a tour bus load of people were at the Inn. We hadn’t heard them, or the bus, from inside our rooms. Although there were at least thirty people eating breakfast at the same time, we had no problem finding a place to sit. (If you can’t find a place you would like to sit, you are welcome to take your tray to your room and enjoy a private breakfast.) We sat with some of the senior citizens on tour. They were always very friendly and we enjoyed finding out where they were from and what they would be doing while in Branson. It gave breakfast a fun “Holiday” feeling.
The breakfast was great and would have cost at least $8.00. The staff who were working in the breakfast room, continuously kept it spotless and were very friendly and enjoyable. The staff working at the front desk went out of their way to be accommodating, even before we arrived, to make sure we had everything we needed and helped with any questions we had about Branson. When we asked if there was somewhere to go dancing, Linda – the owner – immediately got on the phone and made some calls to find us a place. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job of keeping our rooms clean and making sure we always had fresh towels, coffee, etc. Whenever they saw us they would give us a warm, friendly greeting. They were so professional that even if we had arrived with chips on our shoulders and been rude to them, they would still have been courteous.
The Carriage House Inn is in a perfect location, as it is away from the noise but close to everything. I felt like I was going home when I arrived at the Inn each evening after a tiring day of seeing the sights; it felt like the staff was family – welcoming us home and making sure we were having a good time! We are telling all our friends about this wonderful little Inn.
There were no doormen to open the doors, no bell hops to take our luggage to the room, but we didn't expect any for such a reasonable price. This Inn is working hard to give you value for your money. Be fair with your reviews. Linda & John

This was a nice place to stay after the reservation snafu was fixed. Asked for a first floor smoking room and was assigned a third floor non-smoking room. They said fax from HOTEL.com said smoking was a "preference", not a comment in the remarks section. This was not the motel's fault, but the young man who checked us in kept saying there was nothing he could do to help us. Finally, a young lady said they would try and do some rearranging to accommodate us. We ended up with a first floor, smoking room for just a small upgrade as it had a Jacuzzi tub. The prices were excellent. Did not go to the cont. breakfast as it ended at 9:30 and we chose to sleep in. Did not go to the pool as it was in a separate building and didn't see a hot tub.

Room Tip: Call and make your reservations directly with the motel.
