We stayed here 3 nights in our 29 ft RV. The sites are very, very small (thin & short) with hardly any room for parking, a fire pit or sitting. Worst thing is that the very busy Rte 265 is just 20 feet away. We were also unhappy with the parking at check-in, no clear place to park or directions (I would HATE to see it in the busy season!!) so we parked in the ONE "bus" parking lane. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable but we probably will not be back.

Room Tip: Try to get one of the sites away from the highway is your rig is short enough!

If you're a camper looking for a place to park your RV while you go to Silver Dollar City or Branson, good place to go. If you're an RV'er, it has little to offer other than a game room and pool. Most spaces are short and back up to small swales or hang over the hills (not the place for toy haulers). Really tight to drive through while towing; too many trees on the curves for larger RV's over 30 feet. Office/general store parking lot is awful--tight with no direction as to where to park with RV while checking in. The park is literally 50 feet from a very busy and noisy Highway 265. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, albeit a bit slow. We'll book a hotel room for our next Branson visit.

We recently stayed 2 nights in a loft cabin, the cost was over 300.00 for the nights combined, we also had season pass discount. The cabins are cute, but are in need of a good cleaning. The outdoor grill was so filthy from the previous season we had to clean it, then still use foil to protect our food. The mattresses on the beds were all smaller then the frame, therefore, the mattress moved over leaving a 10 inch gap between the mattress and frame. The refrigerator had two large dents, I'm talking approx a foot in diameter. There was food from the previous renters in the bottom of the trash can, and the area the trash can sits was also splattered with food and filth. The kids had a good time but I will not stay here again, and I'm not high maintenance by no means....I just like clean.

We stayed here during the 4th of July weekend in 2013. It was a fantastic experience. The cabins are ADORABLE. The prices are very reasonable (we paid $80 per night w/ our season pass discount), but you do have to book a two night minimum. A plus is that each cabin has a kitchenette, an outdoor grill, and a fire pit, so you can bring your own food. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the rustic cabin. The back deck included a grill and looked out to the woods. There was plenty of room between cabins, so you don't feel like to are right next to anyone else. Our family enjoyed this much more than a hotel, because the kids could run around and play at the end of the day, rather than being crammed in a hotel room together. The pool at The Wilderness is nice sized. The laundry room is close in proximity to the pool which was very convenient. We did bring bikes but the roads are very hilly, so we won't bring them again. My only complaint is that there really is no storage in the cabin for luggage, and the bathroom is pretty small. I felt like we got a lot for our money at The Wilderness. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come back again.

Our family of 4 stayed in a rustic cabin. The pictures on the website are spot on - no surprises. The staff was very helpful, answering all of my questions and offered very helpful suggestions. Clean towels were brought daily, coffee replenished, and trash taken out. This was much better than a hotel - more room to spread out. We all enjoyed sitting on the back porch, enjoyed grilling and eating in. The room has a microwave, coffee maker and toaster. It is now our favorite place to stay in Branson! We will definitely stay again!

We spent three nights tent camping at Silver Dollar City's Wilderness Campground. We had electricity, water and even cable at our site. Bathrooms were clean and directly across from us (site 76). Staff friendly and helpful. Shuttles to S.D.C. make it very convenient for the RV campers. Well equipped camp store, game room and well maintained swimming pool. They also have a great selection of very cool log cabins. The only negative was traffic noise from the very nearby highway. Look for a site toward the back of the campground.
