Three of my gal pals and I stayed here for a four day get away. We wanted something relaxing - and The Chateau filled that requirement. We were greeted by a very kind and welcoming valet and were given direction for check in and valet service or self park. The check in was a bit weird as she wanted to charge me $60 per night more than my reservation. But after clearing that up and getting parked - we were set. We had a double suite with a mountainside view - which actually overlooked the parking lot and the other side of the hotel. So I would definitely book the lake view next time. The room was nice and we had a mini sink and refrigerator which came in handy for food and beverages in the room. We headed downstairs to find dinner and ate on the outside balcony area - the views were breathtaking and the food was delicious (somewhat limited menu). However, they seemed short staffed and our subsequent dining experiences weren't as good as the first night. The next day we slept until almost 10 - it was that quiet and dark in our room (thanks to heavy drapes) - absolutely what we hard working ladies needed:) We found the gym, had a wonderful breakfast on the patio and went poolside. The pool personnel were so accommodating and always offering cold towels and water for the hot day. We enjoyed a spa day the next day - very nice facility and an average massage and pedicure. My only complaint was the automatic 20% applied gratuity - I prefer to tip based on service. In addition, one of my friends had some issues with the services she booked. The manager of the spa is rude and pretentious and wasn't at all interested in asking us about our experience. For what we received - definitely was a bit overpriced. One last negative was all the smoking on the balcony adjacent to where we ate - one morning we were sitting enjoying coffee in the rocking chairs and had to leave because two smokers came out and their smoke hung in the humid air. Overall experience - I'd probably go back - it was gorgeous and we loved the Branson Landing area - however, I'd skip the spa services.

Room Tip: Our Double suite on with the mountain view didn't really have much of a view but it was nice and...

Beautiful scenery, excellent service, very clean rooms, manicured property and numerous terrific food options right in the hotel. Chateau offers everything from valet parking to professionally supervised day care. Fisherman like me will love the location because it straddles Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo - both top national fishing destinations. The staff was friendly and the pool-side drink service was a nice touch. Be sure to spend more for the lake view rooms and take advantage of the water sports rentals. Very family friendly facility including a movie theater with popcorn and a sweet shoppe that kids will drag you too every day. This past week was my second stay and it was as good as my first one two years ago. I have no desire to look for another place to stay in the Branson area - Chateau is it.

Room Tip: Get lake view with balcony

We just returned from spending a few days at Chateau on the Lake for a business conference. We had a King Suite with a lake view, and the room was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, but the sofa sleeper was horrible. If you have an additional person, get a rollaway bed. The view was great, and the corner room was very quiet. The hotel has a very nice spa and two pools and jacuzzis. Besides the restaurant, the hotel has a snack shop and gift shop, as well as good meeting facilities. All employees were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The nearby marina was very accomodating and convenient.

Very ritzy place. Vallet parking available, bell hops, gift shop, sweets shop, lounge library, restaurant. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, small movie theater with an older movie for the kids(+). Now (-) the on-site deli with much more reasonable prices than the restaurant ($dinner menu cheapest item $28). Deli was closed at 6 pm when we had planned to eat that evening. Standard room with tax included was $200 a night. Wifi is $9.95 a day. Waterfall inside, nice atmosphere, we prefer to stay somewhere with a continental breakfast included.

Rooms are very nice. Very clean, comfortable beds. Make sure you get lake view. We didnt use the pool. Would be nice to have another one. Noticed they had drinks available by pool . But took advantage of renting a pontoon. The staff at the restaurant was very helpful , they packed a cooler with ice and lunch to take with us. Buffet was very good, loved the omelets. Dinner was very good also. cheesecake for dessert. You may eat inside overlooking the lake or outside. Beautiful outside and inside. Manicure & pedicure at the spa. Very professional staff. We drove into the town of Branson. One lane highway, very touristy. We did do Dixie Stampede which was nice. If we dressed appropriately we would have done horse back riding. Definitely would recommend this hotel. It sits up on a long road away from all the attractions.

Room Tip: ask for lake view, if you want cool beverages ask for room with mini fridge

We stay at the Chateau at least once a year for a quick getaway and we are never disappointed. Great friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed. Beautiful views!! The breakfast buffet is delicious. Jenny in reservations is always outstanding in helping us find the right room for the right price. We travel as our hobby, International and USA. The Chateau on the Lake is one of our favorites! They surprised us with a tray of delicious sweets in our room and gave us a late checkout with no hassle.
Warm memories are priceless....:) Thank you!!

The room was very spacious and clean with great views of the lake. The fireworks display was fantastic and enjoyed by thousands in and around the lake including especially the Chateau's guests. The food and service were both very good and the hotel has a wonderful ambience. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. Overall a really nice experience although a bit overpriced.
