A family get-away let us see different rooms at the resort. We had a king-condo, which was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Others has the queen-condo, which was kind of small and dark. A third rented the three bedroom condo. You are at the mercy of the owner when it comes to interior decor. All were clean, and expensive. Other than golf and pools, there is little in the way of resort type of activities. Nothing for the kids other than the pools. Nice for adults but a challenge for families with little ones.

Our group had 3 of the four-bedroom cabins for a family reunion. The four-bedroom cabins are made up of two bedroom cabins with a connecting door in between. So, you can open the middle door and have two kitchens, two living rooms, and two patios. Alot of room to spread out for a large group like ours. The ceilings are high and the rooms are large, so it feels really big. The cabins are in excellent condition and well stocked with all the kitchen supplies and appliances you would need. We had a few mechanical issues: hot water, lights, sticking door, but maintenance came within 30 minutes and fixed everything right away. The only downside was the "resort" part. The cabins are across a busy street from the main resort. There is a small pool for the cabins, but that was about it. Choose the cabins if you want a spacious place for a group to hang out, not for the resort amenities.

A desperate last minute phone call led us to stay at the Lakeview Condos - Majestic, a part of Thousand Hills properties. With 3 teens (2 girls and 1 boy) we needed a 2-3 bedroom. I am a frequent business traveler and was determined to get something new, modern and well appointed. I was very afraid of a condo with hand-me-down furniture, etc. I refused to stay anywhere near the strip, and this was situated on a hill near the lake. Well, I heartily recommend the Majestic property by Thousand Hills. The furnishings were first class and new, and the property had terrific views of Table Rock. All 5 of us had plenty of room in the 3 bdrm/3 ba condo...a king bed in each room. I was also pleasantly surprised by the check in experience and staff, well done!

Room Tip: We stayed on the 2nd level of a 3 level building. Had some pitter patter of footsteps above us, but...

We rented two connecting cabins for a family vacation in md July. We had 5 families with kids and had 4 bedrooms and 1 loft. The resort was located in the middle of the strip next to the outlet malls, restaurants, activities. The cabins are nice but are pourley layed out. The cabins are fairly modern but were not very clean. The biggest issue we had was all of the bathrooms were located in the bedrooms. If you had to use the bathroom you had to go into someone else's room. So the couple sleeping in the loft did not have a bathroom to use in the middle of the night without walking through someone's bedroom. The pool was clean but was very small and probably could accommodate 20 people comfortably. For the amount of cabins at the resort two cabins could crowd the pool. The other issue was a barbecue pit that you would find at a park that was suppose to be used by 4-5 cabins. Overall the resort was average not Great and not Bad.

We spent a week in a three bedroom condo. It was very nice, had a well stocked kitchen and was very clean. We enjoyed it a great deal, the pool was nice but be aware that some of the rooms are right on the street. Our bedroom window was just feet from the street and morning traffic starts very early. One morning we had construction and multiple cement trucks across the street at dawn. While some of the condos are better located the chance of being near the street is about 50-50. We've stayed in Branson many times and, while nice, I think we will stay elsewhere next time.

We took our family vacation in Branson, and since there were seven of us, we wanted a place to spread out rather than cramming into a couple hotel rooms. We got a 3 bedroom condo at Thousand Hills Resort and it blew us away. Not only did it have 3 bedrooms, but also 3 bathrooms which made it tremendously easy to get ready each morning and to clean up each day after having fun around town. The best surprise was the sun room which could be accessed from the living room or the master bedroom. We took our parents, who are early risers, so they could sit in the sun room, enjoy some coffee and watch morning TV without disturbing the rest of us who were sleeping a little later. (after all it was a vacation) Thousand Hills is in a great location and very convenient to all of the major attractions including Silver Dollar City, White Water, Branson Landing, and Sight and Sound Theater. High recommendation to anyone planning a trip there.

Room Tip: Different condos have different floor plans, so request one that best suits your needs. Some are al...

This was our second stay at Thousand Hills with our son and daughter-in-law. This time we stayed at the "Foothills" which was extremely nice. Both bedrooms had king beds, and we were able to make the bathroom for the second bedroom private by closing the hall door. We could see the pool from the patio. The unit was clean, and a lot of supplies are provided which makes packing for the trip easier. This year we had our 1 year old granddaughter with us, and she enjoyed having so much room to run around. Thousand Hills is great for two families (or more).

Room Tip: If you enjoy the pool, the Foohills is great.
