This place is off of the busy strip but still within easy car access of most activities. If you play golf then you probably would love this place. The one bedroom condo we stayed in needed updating badly but was clean. It overlooked the golf course and in walking distance of the clubhouse. Since all we did was sleep there it was ok. The staff was very nice and helpful.

We rented unit 6913 for 5 nights. It overlooked the lake, the view was beautiful. It was great! two separate bedrooms and a loft bedroom, all with their own bathrooms. However, the kitchen wasn't furnished as well as it could have been (coffee maker didn't work). We rented with Sonya through VBRO. She is a dear!!! However the unit we had last year was ground floor and the ceiling creaked all night. The people above must not have ever slept! We were miserable last year. I do not recommend staying on the ground floor!! This unit, though is fabulous!! Warning..don't stay there if you are a member of PETA as the owner is a hunter and condo is decorated with mounted stag heads and other mounted wildlife!! We loved the wild boar head with the Arkansas cap!!!

Room Tip: Don't stay on a ground floor unit. Try for building 69 or 60 as they are next to the lake and have wonderful views. The condos at Pointe Royale are hit or miss. We stayed in a nice one in 2009, a pitiful one in 2010, a nice, but nosy ground floor one in 2012, and a lovely one in 2013. Use VBRO and make sure you look at all the pictures. Sonya is great and rents pet friendly condos.

Great location for a person wanting to be near the Strip, but out of the hubbub. A gated golf community, so it's a nice, close in retreat from the Branson congestion. 10 minutes from the Strip and @ 10 minutes the other way to the State Park Marina. Pretty nice.

Nightly rentals are really well priced. True, our unit was dated, but clean and very well furnished. We did use the kitchen quite a bit and I was impressed with what it had.

The indoor & outdoor pools & hot tub are really nice. Didn't check out other amenities.

We had a problem, however, with our a/c on a VERY hot (106) weekend in Branson. I called the desk as soon as we checked in (which was late at night). Repairmen were supposed to come as soon as we left at 9:00. I called at 12:30 when we were headed back. No one had been there yet. There was a team of repairmen/women there when we arrived back at the condo. They did help the situation, but it was never really right. Between their improvements and the temperatures dropping some, we survived. One bedroom was still fairly warm, though.

We stayed in an upstairs unit on Bunker Road. Overall, the unit was clean, spacious, and everything worked, but the fixtures and appliances are are circa 1989. But that was O.K. for us - we were there to just relax.

The TVs are not modern, but work fine, and the unit had excellent WiFi for our laptops and smartphone.

We liked the deep pile carpeting which felt good on bare feet, the excellent water pressure and spacious bathrooms, and having a washer/dryer in the unit for laundry.

We were less than impressed with the decor and the lack of a handicapped parking spot directly in front of the unit (my dad had hip problems and uses a cane; the steep slopes and long walk to the designated handicapped parking spot took a toll on him).

But overall, it was a nice place to stay. I particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony and drinking my morning coffee while watching the wildlife walking over the golf course.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a room on the ground floor if you have trouble getting around. The whole area has steep slopes.

Great place to stay, close to everything, indoor outdoor pool and great golf. I feel of the country club. Playground for the kids. The food is good at the restaurant but we pick up food at the local Walmart and ate in the condo. The condo had all the items we need to make our own food. also had a washer and dryer. Kid enjoy just hanging out, we would have a lite lunch then hit a dinner theater
