Whenever we get visitors from out of town they always want Kolache for breakfast. The bread is soft and slightly sweet. All of the varieties are tasty but we like the ham and cheese the best! It's so easy to bring them home and zap them in the microwave. The bread doesn't get tough either. The staff mark the box up so its easy to tell them apart so no one bites into something unexpected- very helpful for fussy eaters!

Thanks to the world of Internet I found this little restaurant. Since it was our first time there the staff was helpful in telling us what to try. They were right our choices were excellent! Bacon and cheese was mine and my granddaughter jalapeno and sausage. Mmmm good.

We lived in Houston and San Antonio for 10+ years and a breakfast favorite was a trip to the Kolache factory, for tasty sweet or savory treats. Not so much at the Brentwood Blvd. location in ST. Louis. This store must have lost the corporate receipe book, because their product is inferior, stale and overpiced. Those are the nice things I have to share about this location.

The food was OK but disappointing compared to the kolache places I am familiar with, in the city of West, Texas. Just off I 35 in central Texas. Both the Czech Stop and the Little Czech Bakery have spoiled me from enjoying kolaches anywhere else.

Try them. There is quite a variety and they are pretty good. A bit expensive, but not too bad. You will want to try a bunch of them, so go hungry.
