Owners are very nice and always helpful when we have questions, concerns, or needs. Cabins and linen are always clean and ready for us when we get there. Only downside is the kitchens are not stocked very well, but that might have something to do with people "borrowing" things over the years.

We got down to RR about 4-5 times a year, and every time we try and stay here before going anywhere else.

Room Tip: Cabin one is great for big groups. Cabin 12 is good for being away from the other cabins.

We stayed in cabin #6, fully equipped with two VERY comfortable queen beds, a full bathroom with a tub and a full kitchen with everything you need to stay in and get cozy. We were a bit apprehensive at first as we had read a review that said the cabin(s) smelled odd ... but ours was awesome and smelled fresh and clean. Everything was immaculate and VERY well cared for. The property in general was folksy and charming, the owners were gregarious and friendly, and it was overall a magnificent little weekend vacation / retreat. We will DEFINITELY go back, and highly recommend this place to all who are seeking an affordable Ozarks recreation / retreat. Truly, we just cannot say enough good things about this place. Pick Oak Hill, you will NOT be sorry! (And just as an FYI, we came from Vegas, the entertainment capital of the planet ... where everything is a 5 star resort and uber indulgent epic buffet ... this place was the PERFECT antidote to the Vegas frenzied lifestyle ... so we recommend it EVEN more!!!) ENJOY!!! We certainly did!!!

Room Tip: We would have to say you cannot go wrong with any of the cabins ...

We stay there all summer,(April thru October) coming and going, grandkids love to visit us there. This is a family friendly place. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. Close to many Ozark amenities. The fall is gorgeous with all the beautiful colors. We highly recommend this campground

We travel to Roaring River State Park 3-4 times per year and always either stay at Oak Hill Court or Rock Village. They are directly across the street from each other. We probably prefer Rock Village just because the beds seem a little better, but other than that, they're very comparable. One thing we really like about Oak Hill Court is the availability of larger cabins to accomodate 10-12 people! We have stayed in their large cabins/homes many times, and yes, they're old and dated, but it is a fishing type resort...there is basically not anything else that would bring you to Roaring River/Cassville but to fish, so if you're expecting a Hilton, you'll have to keep driving! The pool is very nice in the summer and there is a small game room with video games and a pool table. The grounds are nicely kept and very shady. picnic tables and fire rings are provided for every cabin. The owners are great and very friendly and helpful! Average cabin is around $65/night. The #3 cabin seems to be one of the nicer ones we've found.

My wife and I camped here twice in 2011. Both times were very enjoyable with a lot of peace and quiet. The owners are very nice and friendly along with the camp host. There are plenty of trees around to provide shade and help muffle any road noise. We plan on spending another week or two there again in 2012. Laundry and bath are located nicely in the park. Bring your own grill if you plan on cooking outdoors because there are only fire rings and picnic tables provided.

Jon and I are beginning our 6th season as owners of Oak Hill Court & RV Park! Over the last 5 years, while maintaining the character of our cabins, we've made several improvements and necessary renovations to our cabins. We've also added a couple of full hook-up RV sites to our already existing campground! If you haven't been in a few years, please come and see the changes we've made! Oak Hill Court is a charming collection of historic cabins built in the 1940's and 50's in the heart of the beautiful Ozarks near Roaring River State Park. The RV Park has full and partial hook-ups with plenty of room and lots of mature trees. There is also a bath house with laundromat. Come enjoy the fully furnished cabins, swimming pool, game room and world class trout fishing only minutes away. ... more   less
