This hotel is great for the price! It is well-situated and perfectly clean. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are nice. Booked this through another website but I was hoping for this hotel. We needed a refrigerator for meds and there it was!

i loved my stay at the Sheraton. it was made much better by the price I was able to get. the only reason i haven't stayed there again is because those good prices are hard to fine. if you can find what you would consider a good price, stay at this Sheraton. it is in downtown Clayton so close to most everything in the area. i loved the pool. my room was light and clean. no downside for me during my stay.

Guests may use our complimentary shuttle services to enjoy Clayton’s wonderful selection of fine restaurants or shop at the Galleria Mall or visit the sites around Forest Park. A quick MetroLink ride gets you at the doorstep of the Arch or the stadiums downtown.

We work diligently to offer quality services at a competitive price. Our over-sized indoor pool next to the Sheraton Fitness center is quite popular with all our guests.

We recently spent three nights in St. Louis at the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel. This is easy to get to, about 1 mile off of I-64 / US 40. We found the Metrolink Clayton Station convenient (about 3 blocks) to head downtown in about 25 minutes. the hotel in general and our room in particular was quite clean. We were given an upgrade to a suite, which we enjoyed. Alexander's, the restaurant was enough for our needs. We didn't use the pool or the gym, but they both looked like they are in good shape. We would stay here again, save a few $$ compared to downtown, and use the swift, reliable Metrolink. As always, please tip your cleaning staff when you stay in a hotel / motel.

We appreciate you talking about our convenient location. Holiday shoppers enjoy our location as they visit the neighboring Saint Louis Galleria Mall, where they feature the best shopping, dining and entertainment in St. Louis, Missouri. The shopping experience is enhanced by our complimentary shuttle services that bring our hotel guests to and from the mall.

We also have complimentary shuttle services to and from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. The MetroLink is a quick and inexpensive way to navigate to and from Clayton to downtown St. Louis.

Sheraton Clayton hotel just does not live up to expectations of a Sheraton.

1. Walls are very thin, could hear CNN playing from another room through the heating duct. Could hear alarm clocks buzzing while waiting for the elevator.
2. Elevator is extremely slow, would wait for 5+ minutes each morning. Was on the 16th floor, so stairs was not really an option.
3. Fitness center was small, too hot, dirty, low ceiling with dumbells only to 50 lbs.

The executive lounge was average.

One staff member went truly above and beyond, she was at the travel desk on Nov 20th and was extremely helpful to guide us to lunch and the train station to go downtown.

Perfectly fine, lively hotel with (mostly) super-nice staff. I would have given it a "4" if not for the large, obvious, stains on our room's carpeting (room 621). Also, beware of booking with Expedia; we booked a room that included the $14/day parking fee and breakfast but the hotel could not see that when we checked in. I later brought down a copy of our Expedia confirmation and showed them that these things were included. They nicely deleted the parking fees and gave us breakfast vouchers for the restaurant. The restaurant breakfast buffet was excellent.we will stay there again as it's the best reasonably priced option near the Wash U. campus.

It is our goal to consistently provide clean and sanitary rooms. We apologize for not properly addressing the carpet stains in your room upon your arrival. Our housekeeping team is double checking to make those items have now been addressed.

This is a nice hotel, with friendly and courteous staff. We have stayed here several times, usually by booking through Priceline. A few warnings: hotel parking is pretty expensive ($14 self parking, $22 valet) and overnight parking is illegal in downtown Clayton, so you can't get out of paying for it. Internet is not free, but $10 daily. Also, on our last stay, we were told that we would have to pay an extra $20 to have a room with two beds (apparently the hotel only offers King rooms to reservations booked through Priceline). This seemed a little crazy to me (sometimes I prefer a King, sometimes not) and a bit mean spirited (since we were traveling with small kids, and needed an extra bed). This might be a new rule, but will make me think twice about Priceline in Clayton. The extras add up!

We do offer complimentary Internet services both in the lobby area and at the Link@Sheraton, experienced with Microsoft. The Link@Sheraton also includes complimentary use of computers, printing services and office supplies. Parking is at a premium in the Clayton area; however, we offer complimentary airport shuttle services and we also offer complimentary shuttle services from the hotel to places of interest within a 5 mile radius of the hotel.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Sheraton Clayton Plaza Hotel in the very near future.

Awful hotel. Bathroom has overpowering urine smell. Paint peeling, furniture coming apart, trash and dirt on the floor, hasn't been dusted in ages. If you have allergies, asthma or value cleanliness, look elsewhere.

I was quite distressed when I read your letter concerning the condition of your room during your stay at our hotel.

There is certainly no excuse for our inability to properly clean your room. I feel that a clean room is at the very basic level of the services we provide to our guests. We have an excellent new housekeeping manager who is very focused on addressing the items you pointed out.
