We made a light lunch stop while visiting Mijas as a group of six. Stopped in here on a Monday which seemed to mean a few places that were more highly ranked on Trip Advisor were shut. It was a VERY hot day. We were glad to get out of the sun and the courtyard where Oscars has its outside seating was a great setting but even with parasols it is very warm. Our server did a great job setting up some extra shade and was fast to get our drinks out to cool us down.
Between us we ordered a small range of tapas which were all fantastic. The food was all more authentic tapas than you might find down on the coast (in my experience) but you need to order a lot to make it a decent sized meal. Nevertheless it was all very tasty.
A few of our group ordered cocktails which were a bit of a let down compared to everything else.
I think that is the setting wasn't so stunning it may be a less memorable visit, but worth a try.
