We have been to Sycamore several times over the past few years but the most recent time was by far the best in part because the menu seems to have expanded (modestly - but sufficiently). The beet salad was excellent as were the mussels. The pork chop was enormous but incredibly well done and cooked perfectly and the rest of us had scallops. The scallops were very fresh, lightly crusted on one side, and balanced nicely with a bed of noodles and baby bok choy. The draft beers were a little too heavy for my taste but it was nice to see that the taps were occupied exclusively by Missouri beers (they do have a nice selection of bottles/cans and found a favorite from Tall Grass Brewery). Finally, the key lime tart was surprisingly tasty. Overall, this is a restaurant with a great casual vibe (or you can come as elegant as you want) with a chef who pays attention to detail and balance in all of the dishes. Great stuff.
