“Pleasant and quiet stay”
Reviewed 5 April 2012

I stayed one night at this hotel for a convention. The room was exceptionally clean, quiet and recently remodeled. The bed was so comfortable with crisp, clean bedding. During my stay I also made use of the fitness room which has a good variety of cardio equipment and weight machines. Would most definitely stay here again.

I had a remodeled room, it was clean - had a frig, no microwave. Was very quiet, always a plus. Solid stay, nothing WOW, but OK. My only complaint was the sports bar in the hotel was allowing some "limo" driver to wander around and approach people at their tables, offering 5$ rides to the local "gentlemens club". Come on guys, any chance at being a class act went out the door there.

Very obvious he was allowed to, he hit every table, just walked up to our table and stood there until we acknowledged him.

Room Tip: Executive floor is secured - with quiet hours.

Stayed for business. The front desk let us check in at noon which was awesome. They were friendly and fast. We ended up with a burger and fries in the Sports Zone. It was good food with the typical hotel price. the room was very clean and the beds comfortable with extra pillows. The tv worked, the fridge worked and there was a coffee maker. The bathroom and shower was of nice size and clean.

Room Tip: Rooms 301 to 310 are close the main entrance and can be accessed one flight of steps from the elevat...

We stayed in this hotel because the holiday party we were attending was being held in one of the ballrooms and the party hostess had a block of rooms. The hotel was larger than I expected and overall very nice. The staff was pleasant & professional, the lobby was nice and so was the ballroom. *SN: the food was excellent at the party, kudos to the chef & staff.* The room was a pretty good size, but the bathroom could be a little bigger but no big deal. My daughter was able to use the hotel wi-fi for her laptop (they provide the code upon check-in). My husband utilized the business room and was pleased with the computers and that there was no certain time to be out of the center. We were able to eat the breakfast (it was a part of the room block) inside the sports restuarant but i"m not sure if it's automatically part of the regular room rate. The food was decent & hot, my daughter loved the apple juice. The hotel is in a prime location, right off the highway exit, across the street from the mall & other shopping areas. If you have plans to drive to the University of Missouri (Go Tigers, c/o '99!) it's straight down Stadium Dr from the hotel, can't miss it. Overall if I'm ever back in Columbia I would definitely stay here again.

This older motel is under renovation but offers good rooms and an excellent gym facility. Bathrooms are very large and spacious and the beds and pillows offered are soft and comfortable. The indoor pool exhibited a beautiful setting but was a bit cool for the swim. The staff was friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast and snacks that were provided for the conference were tasty. Being a guest in the winter, I noticed that the old air conditioner/heating unit located on ground level under the windows allowed cold air to enter. The rooms were comfortably heated, but a draft was present. The mall and numerous restaurants are located within walking distance. This was an enjoyable stay for the conference.

Room Tip: Try not to stay downstairs (ground floor).

There are a lot of good hotels in Columbia, Mo. This is a busy town with a booming hotel business because it is centrally located in the state and the University of Missouri brings in a lot of business too. This hotel is located right across the street from the mall, and a variety of other stores. There are plenty of fast food places to eat and a brand new Texas Roadhouse Restaurant was just built across the street. Very accomodating staff at check in. Rooms newly decorated, beautiful carpet in the hallways, elevators fast. You don't need to bring any extra pillows as there are about 7 or more on each bed. We had a continental breakfast in one of the conference rooms. Fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls and other rolls and muffins were provided. Water was super hot for tea. The conference room was cool but not freezing as they sometimes are.
I will be calling them later today to check on the status of my pillow that I left behind. I hope they can send it to me!!

Room Tip: They are in the process of a remodel. They gave us a room on the 6th floor which has been completed...

We stay at this hotel because of our track and field and cross coaches clinic and business meeting. We get a good rate because of the clinic and all the meetings are on site so that makes it very convenient. The sports bar is a good place to meet up with colleagues in between sessions and later in the evening. Rooms are pretty basic Holiday Inn style although I smelled fresh paint last weekend.
