Heard about Circa STL and decided to finally try it out. Glad I did! The menu has some great selections to choose from including the Pork Steak sandwich which was excellent. I had the St. Louis Pilsner and we split the T-Rav’s which were huge. Dip them in the marinara and all is good. The place is like a museum with all kinds of St. Louis memorabilia so spend some time to look around. Kyle our server took good care of us. I’ll be back!

We came here for lunch, and there were only two other tables occupied, so we thought it was strange that we waited a very long time to get our food after we placed our order. Granted, there were eight people in our party, but we didn't order anything complicated. Most of us ordered the "Famous" French Onion Soup, but we were all a little disappointed in it. It had such a thick piece of french bread floating on top, that you couldn't even cut it with a knife to get to the soup. The soup had a different taste than the old Famous Barr recipe, a different seasoning in it and not nearly as good. The Mayfair dressing on the salad was excellent, but the "Gerber" sandwich was again on very thick bread so not nearly as good as the original Ruma's sandwich. The St. Louis pork steak was good, but a little fatty and the baked beans were just pork and beans. The pretzels and cheese sauce appetizer were very good. We liked all the St. Louis Memorabilia, and we had plenty of time to look at it while we were waiting for our food to be brought to the table! We probably will not return to this restaurant.

This totally STL themed restaurant & tavern features STL decor and food favorites.

Opened in 2016, the menu showcases appetizers, soups & salads, thin crust pizza, entrees, sandwiches, desserts and offers a kid's menu.

They are open M-Th, 11-10 p.m.; F, 11-11 pm; Sat, 10-11 pm and Sun, 10-9 pm. Breakfast is served every Sat and Sun from 10-4 pm.

We visited on a Saturday and were seated promptly. My husband had a 1/2 lb. burger and fries and I tried the GINORMOUS toasted ravioli. It guess it measured 2 x 2.

Friendly staff and owner.

Give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Plus, you'll learn a little about STL history.

Even if the food was lousy this place would be worth a visit, just to check out the incredible memorabilia [mostly sports] in Circa STL. But they also have what I would describe as an upscale bar food menu at very reasonable prices. Have been to lunch or happy hour several times and everything is good. Last night my company again hosted a HH gathering for clients, about the 2nd time in 7 months. I can't say enough about the hard work and excellent service we received from our bartenders, Cindy and Gary. They are both veterans in restaurant and bar business and it showed-they had cocktails delivered quickly and poured perfectly, no trying to skrimp on the alcohol. So much of the food & beverage industry has unfortunately been taken over by franchises that all look the same, offer the same choices and are basically run by corporate accountants-so it is a pleasure to patronize truly local restaurants. Check this place out!

From the U-Pick 2 Lunch Menu I chose, the Famous Barr recipe Onion soup with 1/2 Meatball Sandwich. Taste buds were teased and satisfied. DH chose 1/2 Pork Steak & Coleslaw Sandwich with a very generous serving of Crinkle Cut Fries. No complaints and would order again. I personally feel in love with the house catsup or ketchup. One of the many subtle , extras that apparently are the norm at Circa STL. Will definitely return. So many more items to try .
