Well we always go to the Office Pub when we go to our cabin. We didn't arrive there until 8:30 so they were getting ready to close. I felt rushed by everyone BUT our waiter. He was very attentive and tried to make us NOT feel rushed. As we ate our meal they were putting chairs on tables and taking condiments off all the other tables. The price is always CHEAP and even though we liked our waiter who had only been there 3 days, I was disappointed in being rushed out the door by all the others. A blond waitress almost looked irritated as we walked in the door. Then watching her hang all over a customer whom obviously was her boyfriend waiting on her to get off made me a bit uncomfortable for my 11 year old daughter. Not professional at all. Food was good as usual but I can't say i was impressed by the help there. There didn't seem to be any management around. If there was then they weren't very "managing" in my eyes. Guess that's what you get from a place in the middle of nowhere on a Wednesday night. We have had good and bad experiences over the years . . probably more good than bad. I hope the business reads these and really takes a look at their help. One more thing . . . we heard a waitress holler "anyone drinking TEA ? Going once, going twice! GONE." Needless to say she was in the back and no one was in the restaurant area to check with us. . . my husband had NO refills of tea the rest of our meal. Our waiter salvaged some sweet tea for him but he doesn't drink sweet tea. As I said before NOT professional at all. We will still go back I'm sure.
