“Right on the lake”
Reviewed 26 March 2012

We've stayed here probably 3 times now, and each time has been just fine. As you can guess, we've been back, so we do like the property. It's right on the lake, with a really nice dock. The people who run the place are very nice and helpful. Always a great stay.

One of the one-bedroom units that we've stayed in that faces the lake has a VERY SMALL bathroom. So small that it's difficult to get into the shower that's directly adjacent to the toilet. That being said, the rooms have always been clean and ready to occupy.

Since this is on the "other side" of lake taneycomo, it will take a bit longer to get into town, or go to the other side of the lake to go fishing. If you've got your own boat, no problem, obviously.

The only oddity is that there are signs everywhere telling you what to do and not to do. I counted 12 signs in one of the rooms that we've stayed in, and it always brings a chuckle. Really... the management needs to consider whether or not these signs need to be there. It's really getting close to being obnoxious. But, if you can overlook this one very small nuisance, this is a great place! I'll still keep on staying here!

Room Tip: Beware the one-br facing the lake with the small bathrooms!

Stayed in Room #16, there was 4 adults, so we needed a 2 brm/2 bath. Nice unit served our needs. Bedrooms are small with a king or 2 twin beds. The location is private but close to everything. Our unit was not on the river but you could walk down a gravel path and sit at the boat dock, which was much cooler being on Lake Taneycomo. The lake front units are very nice, next time I get lake front. These units have a patio overlooking the river, they are 2 bdr/1 bath very nice. The pool was clean and the grounds well maintained. We had an ant problem in the bathroom and the owner came right over and sprayed for the ants. An Italian Restaurant is right across the street with excellent pizza and carry out service. The kitchen had only one very small and one large skillet and no baking dishes at all, just a cookie sheet and a couple pots. Dishwashing soap, coffee filters, salt and pepper provided, nice touch you rarely see this anymore. There was a new charcoal grill just outside our door. I have already recommended this resort to friends. I will definitely return when I get back to the Branson area.
