We chose to eat on the patio and enjoyed it very much in spite of the cool weather. The menu changes daily; on this day, the "fish of the day" (a firm-textured white fish) was excellent, served with an anchovy cream/paste that provided a nice contrasting "bite". The portions were perfect (we didn't leave hungry). The dessert was the highlight for me: I thoroughly savored every bite of "the best" creme brulee I've ever had; it was definitely not according to a standard recipe. My husband was driving and so we didn't order a bottle of wine, however, the owner suggested a white wine by the glass to go with my meal and it was perfect. (There is an extensive wine list).

Our hotel recommended this reastaurantl for our anniversary celebration and booked us a table and taxi there and back. When we arrived we were given the choice of 2 tables and from that moment the service was impeccable without being fussy or intimidating. We had the champagne aperitif to start, it is a set menu for 39 euros for 4 courses, with 3 choices for each course. The food was very good and our total bill was 160 euros including a bottle of champane which was very reasonable for a special night. When our desserts came the lights went out and they'd put a candle in them and sang happy birthday. It was a nice touch and as we left the chef put his head out the window and asked if we'd enjoyed the meal. I think we were lucky to get a table, if you are going in the summer i would definitely book in advance and it would b nice tobe ble to sit outside if ir's warm enough.

We dined here recently while staying in Moustiers Sainte-Marie, having booked a table by phone a few weeks previously. We were glad we'd done so, as the restaurant was full and a number of people without bookings were turned away.

The setting is very pretty and we had an aperitif outside, although it was not warm enough to eat out there.

The quality of the food was excellent. The choice was limited, this did not stop us loving everything we ate! The staff were attentive but friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

We took the set menu at Euro 36. Consisting of an amuse bouche, wonderful fois gras as a first course. I had the turbot on an amazing bed of vegetables, my husband chose the veal fillet, both were excellent. As was the home baked breads. The choice of dessert was a fruit crumble or a heavenly chocolate with passion fruit. The owner and her husband (the chef) were on hand to offer suggestions and the service was tops and not at all snobby.

We just love this restaurant and really recommend it! The setting and overall feel is amazing, the service is very attentive and friendly and the food is devine. It is exactly what we were looking for in a Provincial dinner, fancy without the fuss. Good, local, fresh food at very reasonable prices. You get the feeling that the chef and everyone there take pride on what they do and want to serve very good food, simply. They experiment and play with flavours like truffle ice cream and chocolate brownie (amazing!) that work perfectly together. The pannacotta is one of the best I've ever eaten.
The champagne and strawberry cocktail was a nice way to start our night, followed by yummy canapés such as little soufflés, local wines were great, scallops and stuffed calamari were delicious, the lamb for main was excellent and local goats cheese on brioche was seriously delicious and the perfect start to the desserts. Everything cost 110 euros!
When we left the chef poked his head out the kitchen window to say thank you and goodbye. So cute! Love it!
