“Exclusive meals, perfect service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2014

Our visit at Ferme Ste Cecile was planed because of reviews. Restaurant is really nice in beautiful countryside. We stayed at terrase, was littlie cold and windy, but we enjoyed the countryside. Service as excelent with helpfull personal. English was really basic, but enough for expresing mealls and vine.
We started with pea cream (not in menu)- absolutelly great. I dont like pea much, but I love this cream at all.
From menu we tried almost everything ( 4 adults). We had childen menu also - grilled fish with mashed potatoes and dessert.
My best experience was Bouillabaissa - I didnt eat better fish meal ever
Prices of wine are really friendly ( starts from 20 e for a bottle)
Only one reproach is lack of childerns atractions. I dont recomend much for family with small childern if you really want to enjoy your meal.
So I thank to Ferme STe Cecile for great insight into french cuisine.

“Perfect without pretension”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 September 2013 via mobile

The positive reviews say it very well. This is a perfect restaurant. 36€ menu was just right & I think operates for lunch & dinner. Each dish a surprise to await. There are language problems that add to the surprise. My entree was wonderful - probably John Dory on a vegetable bed, topped with a sorbet of Japanese black garlic. The service is thoughtful but not subservient. On a sunny day the setting is majestic. A lovely garden surrounded by mountains. Although the village is touristville, the other customers were French & clearly regulars.

“Great discovery”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 September 2013

Moustiers is a very touristy village and the gorges of the Verdon, with justification, attract a lot of tourists. We take visitors, in this case our mothers, quite regularly to see the gorges. Where to have lunch has always been a bit problematic but no longer. This is an excellent restaurant, unpretentious but lovely. We sat outside on the terrace under the trees looking out over the garden. The service was very good - they restrict the number of covers to under 20 - efficient and friendly. The food is not complicated but inventive and beautifully cooked. Squid arranged as tagliatelle, very well seasoned, veal with a wasabi ice cream, slow cooked pigeon - all full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The advice on the wine was well judged.
The restaurant is about 2 miles outside the village towards the gorges. It is a quiet and relaxing spot. If you are visiting Moustiers or the gorges treat yourself and have lunch. If you are staying in the area go and have dinner. I will be returning.

“Wonderful countrysetting matched with the food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2013

An excellent country setting, beuatiful to sit outside and given great food. We had the menu of the day, portions small but punctuated by an excellent number of amuse bouche which were so nice one would want as a main course.
We had an very nice local Rose wine which was a perfect accompaniment for the meal.
The advantage of the restuarant compared to nearby Ste Cecile is that there is ample parking and it is away from the hordes of tourists.
