Our hosts Vincent and Gisèle were very welcoming and generous. We were treated to a drink on arrival, with more drinks, freshly-laid eggs and home-made jams in the fridge, and grapes to pick from the trellis. The house is spacious and fully equipped, as if lived in rather than just stocked for clients. The pool is a big one, and the whole rental area much bigger than it looks in the website photo. A quirky and original feature was the presence of all sorts of useful & decorative items from iron which are found around the house: candle sconces, picture frames, paper roll holders - which Vincent makes in his large workshop. The gîte is hard to find, being in the middle of the countryside with few road signs; once we phoned Gisèle it was fine as Vincent came on his motorbike to guide us. A name sign outside the grounds would have helped us.
