“Exceeded Expectations!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2012

Our party of nine, enjoying a week of barge cruising on the Rhone, was taken to this highly recommended pre-booked restaurant for lunch. The ambiance of this small owner-operated restaurant had immediate appeal, and was fully booked with a mix of locals and tourists. The range of gourmet meal options and quality of food and wine presented to our table exceeded our high expectations. A genuine delight and strongly recommended, especially if you are not pressured for time, as the service struggles with meeting the competing demands of all tables.

“Best value gourmet cuisine ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 August 2011

Without reservation, we had been turned away last year and were determined to find out during this year's trip to the region what made this tiny little restaurant in the heart of Grignan (an absolutely charming medieval village in Drôme) so special. And find out we did. This time we reserved several days in advance. Service was perfect , the food was absolutely divine and to our surprise very reasonably prized.
We can recommend it without reservation.

“Lovely wee place”

We came to this restaurant for lunch as it scored so well on tripadvisor. We were not disappointed €27 for three course very leisurely lunch plus lovely nice amusse buche. Quaint, traditional service. Will remember the salmon mouse filled courgette flower. Lovely :-)

“SUPERB! Ambiance and food alike!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 May 2010

This is a superb French restaurant located in one of the most charming of French villages balanced between districts of Rhone Alpes and Province. Lovely ambiance, lovely owners.

They capitalize on truffles which come from the nearby village of Richerenches. Owner/chef. The only downside is exhaustingly SLOW service. Otherwise, this restaurant is worth a trip to Grignan just for the food quality and price.
