“Exceptional hospitality in a lovely home.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2010

We had stayed at this B&B three years ago, and were very keen to stay there again. May and Ron are very personable and thoughtful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They are most helpful with planning the next stages of your trip, or giving directions. The rooms are cozy and very clean. It is truly a home away from home. This is one of our most favourite B&Bs ever.

we had no reservations and found May and Ron thru word of mouth. Had a little trouble finding their home, (no sign) but once we were there we couldn't have asked for more helpful hosts. Our room was very large and had all of the creature comforts of home and a great shower. We were directed into town to many nice restaurants and our hosts fixed a most fabulous breakfast. Ron was very helpful to go over the map with us as we were taking off on our journey. I definitely recommend No. 3 to anyone looking for a downhome experience.

We traveled Ireland without reservations in Sept 08 and decided to by-pass Belfast and stop in Lisburn. We looked around Lisburn and rec'd a recommendation for "No. 3". It was difficult to find since Ron and May don't display a sign (to discourage undesireable travelers). Our stay was fantastic. Room was a delight with coffee/tea maker, TV, DVD player, and Ron was a great source of info. Quiet, great breakfast and May even lete us use her computer to email the kids. Highly recommend Ron and May's "No. 3 Bed and Breakfast" in Lisburn.

There is'nt much Hotel or B&B accomodation in Lisburn.
However we were pleasently surprised when we stayed last week end at No3 Plantation Rd
The room was spacious and spotless.
The en-suite bathroom had fresh white towels and shampoos.
The room had TV and coffee making facilities
The Irish breakfast was almost fat free and included vine tomatoes and mushrooms. It was preceeded by fresh fruit salad.
I can honestly say it is one the best B&B we ever stayed at.
