We stayed in the farmhouse B&B for a night as we were attending a wedding in the area. Doreen was a delight from when we arrived till when we left. The room was lovely and the home cooked breakfast was delicious!

Perfect place to stay after a long drive and trek around the countryside. Everything and everyone was top notch. Doreen and Brian were very helpful with local customs, places to visit, etc. The breakfast was great. We will stay here again on future visits to Lisburn.

We stayed at the Lisnoe Old Farm House in September 2013. We enjoyed conversation with Doreen and other guests. We felt like we were at home. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Doreen and Brian were wonderful hosts and they served a wonderful breakfast. Also, there daughter was so friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again. We had such a good time.

Our family of 4 stayed at Lisnoe Old Farm House in July of this year. Doreen let us choose our room and it was very comfortable. Doreen is an absolutely fabulous host. She is so sweet and so thoughtful. Her breakfasts were wonderful and we had lots to choose from. She even brought out a bottle of wine to my husband and I one night when we were sitting outside watching the stars after a long walk down the country lanes. It was very quiet and peaceful there at night. We felt very safe. I would definitely recommend staying at this B&B. The place we went to afterwards up a little further north was newer and more luxurious that Lisnoe's but if we could have, we would have driven the 2.5 hours back to have Doreen look after us again. She really makes your stay and is the absolute gem of the B&B. THANK YOU Doreen!

stayed here over the weekend ,after finding it on here and the reviews were 1st class
phoned the owner Doreen rather than the booking operators
she went out of her way to get us fitted in which am sure they wouldn't have.
we were given the barn room which was excellent
fresh linen luxury towels tea and coffee flat screen tv
Doreen and her husband made us so welcome and we felt at home
we decided to go into hillsbourgh for a walk round as Doreen had loads of leaflets etc on where to go in the area
we went had a lovely time and came back to b@b
we purchased snacks for later in the evening as there is a microwave available to use for guests and a fridge to put your stuff in
which is not provided in other places (brilliant)
we settled down for the evening in the lovely lounge and chatted with people from Florida
we all had a lovely evening and a hubby and I had a lovely nights sleep no noise at all
next morning we got up to a feast all made fresh as guests got up out of bed
There was also fresh fruit yogurts toast excellent choice
we went out for the day and decided to stop in for a Chinese in Lisburn
on our return back to the b@b we noticed hotel chains
on seeing the amount of cars noise etc we were glad in had booked into Lisone
as am sure there was weddings going on ,and late night party people running up and down corridors
if your wanting somewhere peaceful this is the place to go
they also provide a barq area for guests to use if the want to
we took our own wine and there was no problem
if we our returning to this part of Northern Ireland Lisone old farmhouse will be our first choice
and they our a lovely welcoming couple
Thank you both

Room Tip: just phone Doreen direct she will look after you

My husband and I stayed in the B&B for 4 nights in late August. It was such a wonderful B&B and is something more than B&B. The rooms are nice and clean and spacious. But what is special about it is the host : Doreen and Brian. Doreen will go all the way to make your stay enjoyable. She always make us laugh and we have lots of fun. There is a gorgeous garden whereby BBQ facility is available. We spent two nights there having our BBQ and I have to say it is the highlight of our Ireland trip. We invited Doreen and Brian to join the dinner. Brian told us lots of funny stories and even played the guitar and sang some lovely songs for us.
When we told Brian we love the Islay whiskey because of peaty smell, he immediately took out some peat for us to burn after the BBQ so that we could enjoy the smell. What a lovely touch.
The dining room is nice and cosy and the breakfast was just delicious. I love the soda bread and the sausage though they have added some extra calories to my tiny body.
Though the B&B is not in city centre, there is lots of places to eat just with few minutes drive and Doreen will provide recommendation to you as where to eat and also where to go. We will definitely stay there again if we come to Belfast as Doreen does not treat you as a guest, she treat you like a friend.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in this very welcoming farmhouse B&B. It is in a quiet rural location, but only a few miles from Lisburn and Hillsborough. Nice, bright room; good variety of breakfast options and happy to accommodate any special requests. Although the B&B was full we didn't hear the other guests.
