Our party of 12 was well received by the owner and our server for the evening. 12 different orders all enjoyed immensely. The restaurant is not much to look at but the chef is very good and food excellent. Walk through town on Ave. Revolution, past the square up the street past Rollie's and it is on your right.

This is my 4th trip to Sayulita and this restaurant is unbelievable!!! Off the beaten path, you will find so much pride in your food / dining experience. Marco, the owner, is such a sweet and knowledgeable person. I watched the chefs making the pasta and cheeses with such passion and joy, that is simply made our dining experience so much better.

I don't believe you will find better food quality, price, and experience anywhere in Sayulita. The only downfall was, that we discovered Mangiafuoco the second to last night. Therefore, we only got to go twice.

Terrific restaurant in a quiet area of the pueblo . The pizzas and pastas are great and the owner very friendly.
He explained us very detailed how everything is made and was open if we wanted to have something different for our kids.

You must not miss this Italian restaurant. After 3 days in Sayulta we wanted something other than Mexican food and the hotel manager recommended Mangiafuoco. There is an open kitchen so you can watch as they roll and cut the fresh pasta , knead the homemade breads which they bake in the brick pizza oven, grill or saute and plate every dish with care. The varied menu offers fresh crisp salads, hand made pastas, interesting pasta sauces, meat, seafood and gourmet brick oven pizza. I had fresh mixed salad perfectly dressed with oil and vinegar, fresh fettuccine with a pink sauce, mushrooms and shrimp (my choice of ingredients) and my husband had the bolognese. Both were delicious and portions were plentiful. Too bad we were leaving the next day- we wanted to go back and try other dishes! The prices were very reasonable and it was our best meal while in Sayulita. You will not be disappointed!!!

We so enjoyed the food and ambience at Mangiafuoco that we ate there three times during our two week vacation in December of 2012.
