Where do I start the hotel was so quaint, the service awesome, the staff were the best.Mati the manager was a special part of the hotel with her smiling face, always trying to accomadate everyones request. She was bellhop, concierge, she made you feel like you were at home. The cleaning staff deserve all the tips they get, they work so so hard. The security night shift were a pleasure to talk to every morning and they took there job very seriously so you felt SO safe.If you go to Sayulita this is the place to stay,we will be back next year for a month if there is room ......

Room Tip: They all great but if I were to win the lottery I want the penthouse...

This was our 9th stay at Casa Blanca and we will be back next winter. Alvarro, Raquel, Maddie and the rest of the Casa Blanca staff do everything possible to accommodate guests and make them feel welcomed and comfortable. The casitas, pool, and grounds are lovely and meticulously maintained. The housekeeping staff is pleasant and take pride in their work. We always look forward to their special touches.
Huge umbrellas and lounge chairs on the beach were a welcome improvement this year.

Booked 3 weeks here last March.....we won the lottery on this one! On the north side of town right on the beach. 16 efficiency apartments, well equipped with Juliet balconies off of each room. Crisp blue and white decor. White linens. Ceiling fans and an air conditioner in the bedroom which we never used. (King sized bed)

Owner speaks English and friendly, efficient staff maintain an impeccable establishment with daily maid service. We shopped in local markets and enjoyed breakfast on our balcony every morning. The roof top gas BBQ was refurbished at the outset of our stay and we prepared fresh fish and ribs purchased locally on many occasions.

Wifi was upgraded during our stay which made it available in our poolside room rather than the
Lobby area.

The beach. To the north of the hotel pristine and deserted. To the south graduall civilization leads to town (about a 10 min walk) and various fun establishments to partake of civiche and other delights. The hotel provides plastic adirondack chairs and parasols which you can take down to the beach each day as well as beach towels.

The easy walk to town is about 10-15 minutes. About 2 blocks from the hotel are an enclave of eateries: Venetia excellent pizza (bring your own wine), Tropical - good breakfast and smoothies, Medusa on the corner for fish and pasta. The argentine steak house called Sayulita Grill is a huge rip off....

Green Grill is a newly opened delight on the north side of the bridge over the river......downtown we enjoyed Calypso with great service and a view over the main square. Mary's for Tacos and break Fast on beachfront for smoothies. Mirovino which gets excellent reviews was a stunning disappointment. We want to try an unassuming beach restaurant downtown habited by locals called Costeno. Antonia's another gem where locals eat...

Ally Cat sailing adventures was one of the best days we have ever spent - anywhere!

Long winded review but will return to Sayulita and Casa Blanca.......

Room Tip: A3 or A5 overlooking the pool. Ground floor no privacy

This is a beautiful hotel! The rooms are big and well decorated. Ours had a kitchenette that was very well stocked. The pool area is lovely! There are many quiet spots under palapas to hang out. It is close to the center of town and seconds from the beach. There is no bar or resturant on site, but there are many wonderful resturants and bars within a 5 minute walk.

We stayed here in September for a holiday. The room was big, open and clean. We had 2 balconies, one facing the ocean the other the pool, a well equipped kitchenette as well as lots of space in the bedroom area.
The decorations, palapa roofs and open concept felt very Mexico!
The staff are all helpful and attentive.
It is right on the beach about 5-10 min walk from town. The pool is great and there is wifi in the common areas that also reach some rooms.
We absolutely loved it here!

Unfortunately, there is currently construction work happening on the property next to Casablanca during the weekdays. Power tools and loud banging from early morning to late afternoon is not exactly my idea of a relaxing holiday. We ended up relocating to a different hotel on the other side of town. The management reimbursed us for the nights we didn't stay due to the construction without any hassle.

We would definitely come back in the future.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views. Ask for an ocean view room.

We stayed here in October/November for a wedding- the whole place was rented out. Most everyone loved it here- I know I definitely did. It was open air, and felt very Mexico. You get a nice little kitchenette with plates, pots, pans and glassware and the maids are great because they'll do your dishes everyday- talk about service. It's right on the beach and it's really just a beautiful property.

Some people in the party didn't like it compared to the hotels we stayed in in Puerto Vallarta- the Americanized hotels. This place isn't like that at all and that's what makes it so awesome.

And Sayulita itself is truly a gem. Loved the town. Loved Hotel Casablanca. Love. Love. Love.

Can't wait to go back!!!!!

Last year I stayed at the main house with a group of 8 friends, ages ranging from 30-40. We loved it, and have actually booked the same house again this year! We keep coming back to Sayulita yearly- the town is amazing, and we're getting to know the locals more. You can walk anywhere. There are 3 more rooms with king beds, and 2 sets of bunk beds that are semi-private. We spent every day for the whole week just hanging out on the sundeck and enjoying the sun. It makes for a great vacation when you can really relax and just cook for yourself or hang around the house during the days, and in the evenings we walked into town for the live music, food, and drinks. This is a crazy affordable vacation spot, and if you've got a group of friends, you aren't paying very much for an entire week at this super sweet house. Our favorite night spots are Bar Don Pato and the Buddha Bar. If you're looking for a day adventure, there are a couple of private beaches you can walk to, or the Chica Loca boat trip is a blast. Enjoy!
