This B and B is truly beautiful! It not only boasts stunning views, wonderfully decorated and maintained grounds, but the hosts are very welcoming and the food is fantastic! We spent a very relaxing 6 days here and the jungle sights and sounds were a nice contrast to the hustle of Sayulita. My only caution is that if you want to get into Sayulita every day, you will face a 35-45 minute walk one way. It is a lovely little hike, but is difficult to navigate in the dark... bring headlamps or plan on spending $15 for a taxi. Beach access also requires a bit of a hike, but the closest beaches are far more secluded than what you will find in Sayulita.

Room Tip: We stayed in La Palma- This room was amazing and had a beautiful ocean view. I think La Vista is th...

Spending time at Hacienda de la Costa was truly a lovely experience, so much so that we actually left another hotel that we went to stay at after our time at Hacienda, and went back. The property is gorgeous. The whole experience was really relaxing, and Terri and Steve are excellent hosts. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

I could go on and on of how wonderful and perfect this Hacienda is but I will try to sum it up.
Everything from the suites which are very roomy and private to the amazing food and the beauty of the place and the area is all #1 first class! Steve and Terri make your stay fantastic they really go the extra mile for each and every guest. The wonderful thing is they know everything from the best places to eat, tour, surf ,shop etc..... they are a wealth of information we found this eliminates any trail and error time so everyday is spent exactly how you would like it !! We also meet some other very wonderful couples which really added to our trip. It's the perfect place ! completely tailored to your needs.I also have to add, that our boat trip with Ruddi was the highlight of my trip , this is a must!!! Just ask Steve he will set you up!
Like I said ,I could go on and on , but look no further !!!! Really this is it !!

My husband and I wanted to spend more time in the Sayulita and since we aren't real adventurous we felt this would be a good option. We are not B&B folks but this setup allows you to have your own space and balcony if you choose and all units are private and large. We met some really nice couples, including the B&B owners Steve and Terri. We did go to the private beach with the other guests for an afternoon and I would say a highlight for us is the 2mile walk to town. Absolutely beautiful .

Hacienda de la Costa is just what we needed to be able to totally relax and unwind. From the magnificent views, the tastefully decorated suites, beautiful landscape, comfy lounge chairs by the pool and attention to detail throughout, this is a place that you won't want to leave. Terri and Steve are incredible hosts. They arranged for transportation from the airport, a great boat trip with Rudi and offered lots of advise on other activities if we were interested. I must mention that Terri is a fabulous cook and her gourmet breakfasts are amazing. And not to leave Steve out, he makes a killer margarieta. If you are looking for total peace and quiet on your vacation this is a definite must. You won't be disappointed.

Steve and Terri have got it figured out: gorgeous setting; great breakfasts; gracious hosts; and lovely accomodations. This is the perfect place to relax and re-charge.

We loved: Steve's margaritas, Terri's dinner, the lounge chairs, the butterflies, the birds, the walks, the beaches, and the ease of making up a light dinner in the shared kitchen.

After a busy week spent with friends and family in Puerto Vallarta, we escaped to Hacienda de la Costa for a few days at the aft end of our trip. This was one of the best decisions we've ever made! After reading reviews on trip advisor we knew we'd be in good hands with Terri and Steve but we were surprised that both they and their property surpassed our already high expectations. Thank you Terri and Steve for the beautiful, clean accommodations... The outstanding breakfasts and margaritas... The time and attention you gave us regarding our travel plans and recommendations... The amazing attention to the finer details that make a great vacation i.e. beautiful clean pool, beach towels, comfy lounge chairs, access to bar, beach umbrellas, boogie boards... all amongst one of the most beautiful landscapes (including incredible view) I've ever had the pleasure of getting to stay in and enjoy.

Then, once you can remove yourself from the incredible accommodations, you get to walk to one of the finest little towns in Mexico, Sayulita. Great shops, restaurants, beaches, with a bustling El Centro filled with happy families, children, and dogs. This is one of the cutest towns I've ever wandered around and consider myself fortunate for getting to experience this little slice of heaven! Bring your walking shoes because it is a small trek to get there.

THEN, if that isn’t enough, there are the private beaches within walking distance of the Hacienda! Beautiful, unspoiled, and uninhabited.

The location of this Hacienda was perfect for us. We loved the remote, jungle setting. The bird watching and the long walks. It definitely worked for what we wanted in our trip, which was quiet and true relaxation.

I can't say enough good things, we loved it! Thanks Terri and Steve for everything, we can’t wait to come back!

Room Tip: We loved La Vista!
