We've watched Eden being built and being added on to but because of having a family home in the area we never stayed there. This time we did and were really impressed with the comfort of it all...beds, cool bungalow even without A/C on 85 degree days, convenient access to dining (and shopping) and the nicest hosts ever. Now with their new pool they truly have it all!

Room Tip: The bungalows are the most unique but I've never heard a bad report from any room.

My wife and I just returned from 6 nights at the Eden. We visit this area at least twice a year and when possible love to stay at the Eden. We stayed in one of the suites on this trip, but all of the room types are comfortable, well thought out and have their own individual charm. We like all of the extra room in the suites and the privacy and a/c when needed. The suites (and all rooms) are only a few steps from the beautiful beach and the not to be missed Jardin del Eden restaurant operated by chef Jean-Pascal. Jean-Pascal and his team provide very tasty, fresh and healthy food all day, every day at very reasonable prices. Great Service! Jean-Pascal is a great guy and we enjoy how he comes out and visits with his guests and makes sure everything is as you want it to be. One thing that always stands out is the cleanliness of the entire property and the attention that the owners and all of the staff put into the little details. I'm not a builder or architect, but you can tell that a lot of thought, hard work and love has gone into the design of every inch of the property as well as the day to day upkeep. They are constantly improving the property and they listen to their guests when suggestions are made. If you need anything at all there is always someone available with a smile and they love to serve their guests. We had a few special request and emailed the Eden prior to our trip, no hassles at all. The beach has comfortable beach recliners and umbrellas for guests, plenty to go around. The beach is great for long walks, shell hunting and swimming (when the surf is agreeable). If you're a good surfer there is a fun (and usually empty) left on the point out front when the swell is from the right direction. When it's good it's mostly a quick and reasonably thrilling drop and a quick turn or two. The Eden is a great place for couples, people wanting to relax solo and family gatherings. Sorry to ramble and I know I left out a few things, but if you have a chance to go to the Eden go for it! We can't wait until our next visit to the Eden! Buena Suerte!

We spent a week at Eden and had an amazing time. We loved our beach bungalow. It had so much natural beauty in the details of the woodwork and little stones in the floor and shower area. The doors opening to the ocean brought in amazing breezes and the soothing sounds of the waves. We were spoiled with the king size bed and luxury mattress. Aside from loving everything about the room, we also enjoyed the food. Everything was super delicious. We ordered a lot of the specialty pizzas and I was gaga for the dark chocolate mousse! Breakfast was healthy and delish also with egg white omelets, yogurt, granola and fruit. As for the beach and surrounding areas, they were just bursting with natural beauty to relax and enjoy. We spent everyday beach combing for shells and exploring the tide pools. We were rewarded by many encounters with sea life, birds and crabs. Eden was truly the perfect place to connect with the natural world.

Room Tip: We loved our bungalow but the rooms in the hotel also looked equally special with hammocks and patio...

Jim and Eva host an unforgettable beach experience here on lovely Troncones Bay. Their welcoming hacienda offers a small village feel with beach breeze bungalows to a small hotel, made complete by providing you with an onsite restaurante with an amenable chef offering a local, fresh and healthy menu with a french flair.
As a couple we enjoyed beach bungalow 8 with it's moonlit shower for 2,
nightly breezes, and lanai food and beverage service whenever requested, all just a few steps from the
beautiful sandy beach. Troncones Bay is an unbelievably lovely beach, you feel as if you've booked yourself a semi-private laid back mexican experience with a touch of luxury. The ocean here is clear, temperature perfect and we enjoyed the best swimming ever experienced in Mexico or Hawaii. Waterside walks morning and evening are enjoyed without the crowds and bird lovers will find viewing rewards within walking distance. Day trips out of Troncones are easy to accomplish and Jim & Eva are experts at helping you make arrangements. They make an effort to make a casual check in with their guests every day, making sure your needs are met. We enjoyed a pre-Christmas 2012 sojourn with new and returning guests. We look forward to spending our next winter break at Hacienda Eden!

Room Tip: We preferred the casita feel of the Bungalows, but the hotel rooms offer luxury choices that others...

A friend and myself stayed 4 nights at the Eden and had a wonderful time. Our accommodations were perfect, i loved our front porch with table, chairs and hammock looking out on the beach and only steps away.
we both thought the Eden to be the best beach that you could swim, others were to rocky. the owners couldn't have been nicer and the mgr. Eva was there to greet us and take care of our needs.
they served coffee each morning and the restaurant with the French chef had excellent food, service and competitive prices with other hotels in the area.

This lovely hotel is located on a small and what feels like your own private bay in Troncones. The hotel is beautiful and well-though out, fully plush rooms, family (one kid and one set of parents) suites, beach-front bungalows, all with the sea air and some with incredible views. The beach was secluded and away from the bustle of the main town, almost remote, which we actually loved, but it meant you'd need a car if you wanted to access town. We loved the town just north, a little fishing village called Majahua and the authentic food and lifestyle we found there. The point seen from the hotel's restaurant and some of the rooms (we could see the waves breaking off its point from our bed in bungalow #9) was fun to explore by foot for shells, urchin casings and calcified spines (yes, they live in the rocky point's grooves, watch out!) and little fish in the mini-tidepools. The waves were a bit rough when we were there so it wouldn't be safe for young children but we loved going out for a swim and diving underneath the blue waves, watching them curl over us in lacy white foam with the sun shining through. We loved the hotel staff and the little lounge area with adirondak chairs and hammocks; we'd read our books in the breezy afternoon while drinking strawberry yogurt smoothies or beers with fresh guacamole. We spent so much time there we began calling it "the office." We will be back to enjoy this little oasis, or Eden as it's aptly named. Thank you!

Room Tip: bungalows are beautiful and have outdoor showers, but they are cheek-by-jowl to other guests so if y...

The Eden Beach Hacienda is a small hotel (about 12 rooms total) located right on Manzanillo Bay in Troncones. Remote, quiet, relaxing, with great swimming, boogie boarding, and snorkeling. Wonderful lounges with huge umbrellas reserved just for the guests....spend the day reading and watching the waves. The owners and staff are friendly and very helpful. The Jardin Eden restaurant on site has an incredible menu. The seared ahi tuna and shrimp tacos are amazing. If you want to go kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, fishing....The owners, Jim and Eva, are there to help you with such activities. We loved our time at Eden Beach Hacienda...a great way to celebrate my birthday!
