This is the perfect setting for a fabulous meal at the beach. The restaurant is up the beach road in Majahua and is worth the trip. Johnny is a great host and serves up delicious food and margaritas. If you like oysters, this is the place to go. They are super fresh and are kept in mesh bags in the tide pools in front of the restaurant. We loved everything that came out of that little kitchen.

What a fantastic oceanside restaurant! It is always good to find a place off the beaten path, this is one of the best, the trip there was definently worth it, The shrimp, oysters and lobster were VERY good, but the shrimp taco was out of this world!!!! Ice cold beer and margaritas topped it off. We cannot wait to go back, Johnny is a great host. If you get anywhere close to there do yourself a favor and stop in

One of the best meals of my life We had an incredible multi-course seafood meal with family. Everything we ate was extremely fresh and cooked perfectly The view was fabulous and very relaxing. The service was excellent and could not have been friendlier. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will return soon!

Although Doña Martha's is tricky to find, the experience is well worth it. We were welcomed to the waterfront restaurant with friendly greetings from Johnny the delightful chef. The sandy grounds were freshly raked with tables in view of the spectacular Majahua bay. With a party of eight we decided to choose the chef special which included extremely fresh fish directly from the bay we viewed. The happy fisherman walked out of the ocean with the catch of the day, as we were being seated and served chips and salsa and ice cold drinks. I highly recommend the refreshing margaritas on the rocks. The bilingual speaking (English and Spanish) waiter assisted us graciously throughout the meal while also giving us some time to take a dip in the natural pools surrounded by lava rocks directly in front of the restaurant. Johnny, also bilingual, created an amazing meal beginning with the appetizers including tiritas, which is a type of ceviche, and fresh oysters of varying size on the half shell. Next was a platter of grilled lobster in garlic and sweet chili's. Following the lobster were three types of succulent shrimp. The first shrimp were lightly breaded, the next were sautéed in butter and garlic, and the last were a la diabla which were moderately spicy. The side dishes were handmade warm flour tortillas, fresh guacamole, and beans & rice all made in house. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing and leisurely lunch which gave us time to enjoy the views and refreshing swim in the bay. The dessert of homemade vanilla ice cream was an excellent way to finish off an amazing time at Doña Martha's.
