This was our Second trip to Richmond Barracks and the service was as good as it was last time. I cant say it was better than last time as i couldnt fault it last time. Anyway i visited Richmond Barracks with more family this time and rented 2 units from the proprietors Martin and Liz. As always we had a warm welcome and were offered the service of being collected from the Airport. We rented a minibus this time so declined the Airport collection, but its always nice to be asked. We rented the Lady Esther and the Cellar units this time and both were immaculately kept and nice and warm on our arrival. We stayed for 5 nights this time as i wanted to show the family i had with me around the most interesting sights in the local area and find Richmond Barracks very close to the village for the shops and local restaurants etc and roads leading into the village. We started our days with a more than adequate Breakfast and this set us up for our days of sight seeing, although getting out of the comfortable beds is very difficult sometimes. ( I must ask Martin and Liz where they get there Beds from !!!! ) Liz also planned a few days out for myself and the family as she remembered were we visited last year and managed to get us some very good family discounts on Truan Air walk and Cascade Brewery Visits. I cant speak highly enough about Tasmania, Richmond and especially Richmond Barracks and would recommend a visit here anytime. We always come away feeling like we have been treated like one of the family and i will certainly visit again in the Future. Well done again Martin and Liz, keep up the good work. Someone reccommended Richmond Barracks to me and was so pleased they did. 10 out of 10 yet again.
