“Nice old Bridge”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014

An old stone bridge. The romance of its history is good., and worth a look while walking around Richmond. But it is a bridge only.

“Well Worth the Stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2014

Lovely parkland for a picnic and fascinating history associated with the bridge and its construction. Richmond is well worth a look at its variety of shops and food stores, especially the Lolly Shop with an amazing range of old favourites.

“It's a really old Bridge”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 April 2014

It's a bridge, not much really more to say. A really old bridge. Supposedly Australia's oldest bridge.

Take a short stroll to St John's Church, Australia's oldest Catholic Church.

“Picturesque”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014

A beautiful spot. Its attarction belies its sad and colourful history! A few artists were around sketching. We wanted to visit the cemetary but couldnt see how we got there. Mill House beside the bridge (on the map on teh bridge) is now a private residence.

“Historic must~see!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014

Walk over it, walk beside it and row under it! Beautiful old bridge full of history and the centrepiece of the quaint town of Richmond. Beautiful walk along the banks of gardens and lush grass. Stand on the timber viewing platform and capture the reflection in the water. It's incredible when you consider it was made by hand and it's still in use.

Definitely put this one on your itinerary!
