Hotel itself was a typical hotel. however they offer a continental breakfast that was not good at all. The pastries were freezer burned. Better to discount the hotel room and I could have gone across street to Dennys

Our problems with the room started almost immediately. First, the elevator we took to our room was had filthy carpets and horrible smell, then we arrived at our room to find the door lock did not work and the room had that sickening smell from failed attempt to remove smoker smell. The shower curtain was filthy and stained. I know it had not been washed with detergent as I was able to lightly rub soap on a section and it came out cleaner. The television remote was so weak you had to be close and in perfect straight line to TV for it to work. In their "business center" there was only one computer and it had no working programs or internet access. Finally, the "hot" breakfast items (scrabble eggs, biscuits, and gravy) (no meat item such as bacon or sausage) were cold and the cold items (donuts, breads) were practically frozen. Additionally, the dining room was dirty (dust, cobwebs, etc.) Thankfully, we had no desire to use the indoor pool, especially after noticing that they do not even drain the outdoor pool in the winter (I was uncovered, full, filthy, and filled with plastic balls. We will never stay at this hotel again. For the price very disappointing. Would have done better at a Super 8 (and that is bad.) Only good thing was the staff who were friendly and professional.

Room Tip: The best tip for choosing a good room is to choose one in a different hotel.

At first i thought the hotel was going through new ownership, then find out they changed to the ramada three years ago. One of the towers werent even open. My room had the loadest air unit i think I've ever heard. When it would kick on at night it woke me up everytime, on average i was waking up by it three or four times a night. The pool area just looked ran down so i never even attempted to use it. Now i did spend at least hour every day in the fitness center. They treadmill didnt even work and there was one set of dumbbells only of 15lbs. Other than that the fitness center was ok. The breakfast in the morning was the same thing everyday which wouldnt be that bad but the eggs were smelly and tasted horrible. The resturant at first seemed nice until two nights in a row i was told they didnt have something that was on the menu. Other than that the resturant was nice. Then came the inccident were the front desk gave my room to a couple while i was still in it and wasnt suppose to check out for another two days. The manager the next day was very noligable and helpful in resolving the issue and comped me a diner in the resturant. Overall the hotel has a quilities to be a very nice hotel but is lacking the small things that people notice
