This is a great place for elementary kids and older. It is a fun experience for free! My kids loved trying to lift a bar of gold (in a case) and getting a bag of shredded money at the end.

This is a self guided tour through a tiny museum where you get to see some robots moving around a ton of cash. They a VERY small gift shop with basic junk and nothing that is actually interesting.

It's free though so maybe you get what you pay for?

While we were traveling we stopped at the museum to look around, it was very interesting and informational. At the end you get to take about $168 in shredded money which was really cool. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Make sure to bring your ID or you wont get in. Highly Recommended.

We were in the area and decided to check this out. It was a quick little tour that we found interesting. It was free. You even get a little souvenier of shredded money for free when you leave.

They had a display of how tall a stack of $100 bills would be to make a million, trillion, etc., how heavy a bar of gold would be and you can actually see the workers use a large machine (sortor) to bundle the bills to together and place them on a cart. My kid puts in a dollar in a machine and I'm thinking "o.k., why is she putting in a dollar just to get a shiny new quarter" To my surprise, she received back 4 shiny new quarters. There is also a wall of sovenours to purchase and the prices were very reasonable. Don't forget to grab your free bag of shredded money estimated to be $165 worth. My neighbors son who pet sit for us enjoyed that. Don't forget to bring your driver's license. I had to walk all the way back to the car. Use your cell phone to listen to the informations when you put in the appropriate display numbers.
