This is in the Federal Reserve building in KC, so security is tight. You have to go through metal detectors and scanners, but is worth it. It is a self guided tour with different points that you can use your cell phone to call in for description of what's going on. There are some things for kids to do, but basically the information is somewhat dry. They can draw their own money and there is a computer to design money and e-mail it so you can print a copy at home. I like history, so looking at the displays and reading about the history of the banking industry was interesting. I think it's a good way to spend an hour and it's free, hard to complain about something that's free.
