“Exceptional Brunch!”
Reviewed 7 July 2014 via mobile

Ate at Baked for the first time after the Dog and Jog in KC and what a wonderful place! It was busy but we chose to sit outside and we were immediately seated, great weather so it was great. The waitress said it would be a bit of a wait and remained attentive refilling our coffee (Roasterie) and water and checking on us. One other reviewer mentioned it was slow and it was but the food is worth waiting for. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I had the classic eggs Benedict with home fries and my husband had the Classic KC breakfast with bison sausage that you could tell was hand made. The food is worth the wait. I will definitely go back!

“Luscious Brunch”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Brunch at Baked in Westport is a delight. You can pick up a pastry and eat it on the patio or order a hearty brunch item in the restaurant. Our first tries were the Stuffed French Toast and Veggie eggs benedict. The brioche french toast stuffed with a creamy mix and raspberries was delicious but more than ample. Benedict eggs cooked perfectly and fresh veggies. They also have many other Benedict choices including prime rib. There are lighter choices as well like yogurt, granola. Come hungry. The bakery counter was full service and full of goodies. I will bring my grandkids here next time. They will have lots of choices and big booths would work well for the chaos of kiddos. I look forward to trying lunch there.

“Dry Turkey sandwich”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

Something that I believe is key in a sandwich is the bread. I was hoping that a bakery would have this. But this was one of the driest uninteresting turkey sandwiches I've ever had

“Delcious but slow...”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

We had brunch there 2 mornings in a row this past weekend. We sat outside both times and enjoyed the sunshine but some potted flowers or decor of some type on the brick patio would have been nice. The food was wonderful and the first morning our guy waiter was pretty good. But the second morning our waitress truly seemmed "Baked in Kansas City"....our service was so slow and she kept forgetting to bring us coffee refills, etc. Several of the servers seemed to be moving in slow motion with absolutley no hustle or motivattion involved. But the baked goods and omelettes were to die for....
