Checked in late after a long day. Check in was fast and the clerk was super friendly. No handicapped parking left, so he let us park in a preferred customer spot which was much appreciated. Room was clean and adequate except for three issues. One, the coffee maker didn't work and the hot water container in the lobby was empty as well. Two, the tank valve in the toilet was leaking badly so the toilet ran all night. Three, the wall next to the bed was COVERED in black marks and smears and badly needed a paint job. Got to breakfast at 9:30 next morning. Now I realize that you have to start winding down breakfast at some point, but to advertise breakfast until 10AM and have nothing but SCRAPS at 9:30 seems a bit unreasonable. If you are not going to have food at 9:30, then stop serving at 9:30. No hot water, either. Check-out was fast and friendly and told them about the toilet and coffee pot so hopefully the next guest can get that cup of tea that we never got.

There was nothing wrong with the stay, check- in was simple and quick, everyone seemed to be nice. It has a pool, jacuzzi, and workout room. But I've been to a lot of hampton inn and the ones that are updated are very nice and makes you feel like your in a top notch place. This place seems to be updated from the early 90's.

Bunch of places to eat very close to the hotel and close to 2-3 major hwys.

I stay here frequently. The staff is friendly and efficient. The hotel is clean. The counters in the bathrooms are long and provide lots of room. The bedding and towels are clean and comfy. The shower head is mounted too high for me (5'2") and I would prefer a Speakman shower head and/or a hand held piece. The breakfast is not health food fare; so I travel with my own food. The first floor has strong chlorine smell from the pool, so I stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Location is right off I-44 and close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn Sunset Hills.

The hotel has the friendliest staff. They are very welcoming when you first arrive and greet you every morning and every evening when you return. All of my requests were handled quickly and always with a smile. This is a wonderful hotel to stay at. I will definitely be back.

Just South of I-44 and Lindbergh, is a place to relax and enjoy. It's in a great location and the price is right and the parking is free. Many good places to dine nearby. Fuddruckers, Longhorn, Steak and Shake, Denny's, you name it! The staff is wonderful and the full service breakfast with a wonderful staff member, Sue, makes the experience, very nice.
