Delighted to see a great old building in Lebanon preserved instead of demolished! Many people have fond memories of the old Joe Knight Drug Store, and it was great fun to visit last Saturday night for a meal with friends. The food was good if not great. Our party had the grouper, mahi-mahi, salmon, and filet mignon. Everyone seemed pleased. For me, the salad could have been colder and crisper with a better selection of lettuce. The rolls were just okay - perhaps serve something a little more unique and homemade? And real butter, please! The menu is not huge, but it's adequate, although some found it slightly pricey for the area. The service was very, very nice. I would definitely return for lunch, which looks to be more moderately priced. Visit the Madison Street Grill and support businesses that preserve our unique architecture! A great deal of it is already lost.
