Our team came here for a baseball tournament on Memorial Day. The inside is newly renovated and the rooms were nuce, too. The location was convenient and a short drive to restaurants and the fields. Although they don't normally serve free breakfast, our team got a special Team Breakfast that was pretty good. We also enjoyed the indoor pool, the mall, and the outdoor pool although it was a long walk away.

We stayed at the Sheraton Westport Plaza 6/17-6/22/14 which was the host location for the Old Spooks and Spies reunion.

Location - the hotel is located in an Office/Light Industrial area which really limits offsite dining because the area is abandoned when the day workers leave the area. Not necessarily a negative but if you are looking to be in an area of active night life and dinning your options will be limited here.

Facility - the facility is first class as to be expected of the Sheraton brand. We were in room 911 which was large and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. Note that the is normally an additional charge of $ 9.95 per day for internet access in your room. Maid service was somewhat spotty because of personnel not showing up and the hotel backfilling from a temp agency - the hotel addressed this satisfactorily.

Dining - there is a restaurant on site serving a breakfast and lunch buffet. We ate breakfast which was very good. Because of the reunion we received a discounted breakfast for two. The discounted breakfast with added 18% tip worked out to about $ 28 per day for two. The resturant does not serve dinner - there are restaurants on the Plaza that are good but after a week you start to repeat.

We would stay here again if in the area.

We have stayed here several times and we love that it is out of the way and quiet. But this time (or maybe just this particular room we had) was really unfortunate. The bathroom walls showed a lot of discoloration and water or moisture wear and the bedding was stained clearly for some time and either overlooked or never noticed. The staff was great as always but we wish they would have given us accurate breakfast times in the Club Lounge. That did not start the day off on the right foot.

After a mix up with the Sheraton Westport Chalet and them giving us a room with two queens instead of our requested room with one king we were transferred over to the Plaza Hotel.

Since a mistake was made a very nice staff member walked out and met us before we even reached the desk to check in. He knew our name, apologized for the mix up and gave us breakfast coupons, even though we already had access to the Club level room. That completely made up for us having to change rooms and hotels late at night. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

Our room was very nice and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. In the morning when we went to the Club level for breakfast, even though there was more than another half hour left there was hardly any food left so we went to the buffet at the restaurant (no charge). Very nice breakfast buffet.

This is a great location and very convenient to downtown and all that StL has to offer. We were visiting family in St. Charles and Des Peres and attending a Cardinal game and all locations were very easy to reach from there.

This is a nice hotel. It's worth it to spend the little extra to have the Club level room and take advantage of the breakfast. The gym is very small and can be difficult to get the equipment you want in the morning.
The beds are very comfortable. All the staff are very friendly.
