Unusual to write a review on an information centre but felt this place was worth a mention. We stopped here to see Mount Robson and for a comfort break but ended up sitting with the wonderful Liz for over half an hour gathering lots of useful information regarding the rest of our driving holiday round B,C. She gave us lots of useful tips, leaflets and maps. Mount Robson was amazing too!!

“Photo opportunity”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

Unless you are hiking, the best photo for mount Robson is from the deck through the visitors centre, plenty of parking, nice cafe and gift shop.

“The most helpful staff in Canada”
Reviewed 6 September 2013 via mobile

Can't speak highly enough of how helpful and interesting the staff are here. The lady we spoke to ended up recommending us years worth of experiences all over Canada, many of the places recommended became a highlight of our trip. A massive thank you!! Stunning views too!

“Beautiful - trees of all shades of green”
Reviewed 28 July 2013

The car park is free and there are beautiful views of all the mountains all round. A must see.

We came from Jasper so it was not a problem, but we would have needed to pay the toll if coming the other way. ($9.80 per adult per night while in Jasper and Banff. We paid $78.40 for a family pass for 3).

The visitor centre has loads of brochures for the whole of BC which were helpful. I would have expected a ranger, if not storyboards, describing the various mountains as this would have helped to identify which one was actually Mount Robson! Unfortunately it was completely shrouded in cloud so we didn't get to see it.

There is a café serving hot meals all day or sandwiches and a gift shop. Proper toilets!

“Most helpful”
Reviewed 24 July 2013

We stopped for a good look of Mt Robson and we got a great shot of the mountain as well as helpful information about Rearguard and Overlander Falls. When we asked Liz for suggestions of places to eat , she gave us several suggestions. The visitor center has a beautiful view, immaculate washrooms, and very friendly helpful clerks. Do make it a stop.
