I Came for Sunday lunch with my husband. They didn't have any chicken so had too have beef which was really dry , mash and gravy were very lumpy. Roast potatoes still frozen. We didn't enjoy any of our dinner really. Wasn't many people in so no excuse for the awful dinner first time we have used this pub won't be going back again!!!!

From hero local pub to zero pub in the space of a few months. Another example of new landlords (don’t know who they are as no names above the door) trying to follow in the footsteps of a really great, experienced licensee. To begin all was good, but over the months the quality of the beer and food has dipped substantially, and the once loyal customers have voted with their feet. Different bar staff every week, and if you like a bit floorshow, there’s been a few fights recently. At least they’ve got rid of the toybox, which hopefully means less children running around whilst you try and relax. Shame, looks as
if The Bull is heading the same way as The Plough, which is now Plough Cottage.
