$65 a plate for 4 course meal.
1. soup was "broken" the milk curdled in it... ick
2. salad - was nothing more than bagged field greens and lacked any thing else that they said would be in it. vinaigrette was lackluster
palate cleanser - I was given a soup spoon to eat sherbet. lol
3. veil chop was RAW. pork "chop" was tenderloin. inconsistent serving sizes between guests; mine was tiny, thin sliced and COLD! mashed potatoes were cold, too! OWNERS took our plates back and MICROWAVED them. double ick
4. dessert was ok. mine was fine - til I dug into a spoon ful of raw dough. hubby's was overcooked.
This was the worst meal I have ever encountered in a restaurant, much less at that price point.
it did include wine and champagne upon arrival. but there was nothing spectacular about the wines and the last course of chocolate cake with dry wine just did not pair well.
we will never go there again.
we went to red lobster after spending $130 there so we could have DINNER!
OH.. and no music in our room... but the main bar had live entertainment. hmmmm - who was paying all the money?! ya - the 40 people in the special dining room.
