My family and I rented The Lodge. We were so pleasantly surprised by the space and layout of the cabin. The kitchen was awesome and we could eat at a bar and look outside. The enclosed porch off the living room was spacious and very comfortable. The bedrooms had comfortable beds to sleep in. We felt like we were at home while we stayed there. The staff was very friendly and very helpful!!! The pool was clean and great to play in. The river was amazing!!! We would stay here again!!!

Our float trip was cancelled due to the lousy weather, but our weekend getaway was still very enjoyable. The kids enjoyed the pool for several hours in between the thunder storms. The cottage was very clean and cozy. The screened in porch was the perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the rain. The campground owners were very friendly and helpful. They completely refunded the raft rental portion of our fee---many float trip outfitters will only give you a "credit" if the weather causes cancellation. Highly highly recommend this campground. We are already planning a trip back and hope the weather will cooperate so that we can float!!!

Room Tip: the "cottages" are more secluded and surrounded by trees than the "camping cabins&quo...

This was our first trip down to the Gasconade River and we had a great time thanks to the folks at Gasconade Hills. Their cabins are very nice, very clean and cozy. We enjoyed sitting right outside our cabin in front of the campfire. The 6-mile float ends at the resort, so there's no waiting for a bus to come get you when you're ready to get back to the cabins/campgrounds. This was the calmest, most quiet river resort we've been to. Very laid back and easy to relax. The people at the front desk were all so nice. We can't wait to get back! Just a tip, you can get some things at the office if you run out, like sunscreen, some food, etc., but you have to go about a mile to get more beer. Come prepared, or just take a quick drive. Highly recommended!

Our family has been coming in to the Gasconade Hills for years. It is clean and peaceful. The Gasconade river is crystal clear, and filled with panfish and bass. The hosts Christian and Stephanie always go out of there way to help out the campers and canoeist. The campground is nestled deep into the cool inviting forest of oaks and cedars. There is a ample campground store on the properties.
