Description: Just downstairs from Devil's Pool, you'll find a warm welcome at Buzzard Bar. There's comfortable seating indoors amid antique appointments and the usual collection of stuffed, furred and feathered friends, or you may choose an outdoor setting on our patio or overlooking the pool. Every evening, we'll feature local entertainers including our very own Singin’ Cowboy playing and singing all your favorites. Buzzard Bar is a non-smoking establishment.

Everyone raved about how great this bar was, but I found it about average. There is nothing to compare it with any where close, so this is really the only option. It is large enough for a medium size group (10 or so) to sit together or for couples. Usual bar fare to drink and eat. OK but not great. Evening entertainment. Being from Nashville, my expectation for talent is pretty high and I found this average, but entertaining nonetheless. OK place if you are staying at Big Cedar but wold not travel to the property to go here.

We ate here as a recommendation from Lodge staff for the entertainment. Clay Self was performing that night. If you have the chance to see him, don't miss it. He is so talented and we really enjoyed listening to him. We were only going to eat and have one drink. We ended up staying til Clay finished playing for the night. We had the buffalo meatballs, steak and pizza. All the food was great! Very relaxed environment.

They have a captured audience at Big Cedar Lodge and they perform like it. Food was not that good, service was ok. Prices were a bit better than the restaurant upstairs, but food wasn't any better. Not so hot, and wouldn't recommend it.

Really liked eating dinner one night when Clay something was singing. His voice is top notch and he is almost as funny as me. Mostly did sandwiches here but one night had the ribs and they were very good.

A unique type restaurant/good steaks & seafood. Service was wonderful. It seems that all the people you meet are very friendly and just like the people from your hometown and if you didn't come with friends, you will soon meet some.
