Saw a billboard for the bistro and decided to stop for lunch. Happy we did. Location is very scenic. Food was delicious. Staff was very helpful. Will have to visit again. Definitely recommend stopping here.

“Bistro view was beautiful”
Reviewed 3 June 2014

We went to the bistro first because we had heard about the beautiful view. It sits on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River. They were setting up for a wedding and I'm sure it was lovely in that setting. The grounds are well kept and the vineyard is located there. We stopped at the tasting room, but the lady there was not friendly at all. The wine seemed much higher in price than what we had found on the Missouri wine trail around Herrman. Probably would not stop at the tasting room again. The good reviews are based solely on the bistro and the views there.

“Only went to the tasting room”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

We did not have time to wait for the Bistro but went to the tasting room to try some wines and bought a case. The woman in the tasting area/gift shop was very attentive and helpful in picking the type of wine we would like. The cats in baskets are darling and it was a great experience.

Very casual outdoor dining overlooking the Missouri River. Wine by the glass or bottle, excellent light fare with cheese and meats.

“Do not miss this, it's very close to I-70! Get off at the Rocheport exit and do it!”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

Loved it. Excellent food, we had the pork sandwich with german potato salad, chicken sandwich special with home made tator tots, cold asparagus soup, and the only glass of missouri wine I have ever tasted and liked. It was their version of Chardonnay. Our server, Maddy, was pleasant and thankfully not overbearing. The view was gorgeous of the river from the bluff location. I must mention here that we had been biking for about 16 miles on the katy trail and took the oath up to the bistro. It's a lovely switchback hike through the woods a little less than half a mile. Whether you get there by bike or car, don't miss this jewel of a lunch or dinner spot.
