“Good Breakfast”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

Stopped off here for breakfast on a recent road trip. We have ate here before and always had a good meal, today was no exception. Our food was cooked fresh and was very tasty. The quantity of food was great; you will not leave here hungry. They have a good variety to choose from as well. The service was mediocre at best but our server was a young man that didn't seem to have much experience. All in all a great place to eat. I'll stop here next trip through the area.

“Breakfast with Andi”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

On Friday, May 30th, as my wife, Ginnie, and I were driving home to Gilbert, AZ from a Memorial Day road trip to Earlham, IA, we stopped for a late breakfast at the Trails End Restaurant in Rock Port, MO. The great food and cozy atmosphere were punctuated by Andi's stellar service.

If you're traveling any where near Rock Port, the Trails End is where you want to eat. And give my regards to Andi, a young woman who brings panache to what some might consider a dull job.

“Good stop for food”
Reviewed 6 May 2014 via mobile

We stopped here for breakfast. The food was very good. Eggs were cooked as ordered - which is not always the case in my experience. Price was reasonable. They were setting up the salad bar as we left. It looked very good too. I would stop here again.

“Great little stop along I-29”

Good store, decent restaurant.
Stop here for the buffet on Sunday at 10am. It's supposed to be decent for the price!

“Pleasant Surprise just off I-29”
Reviewed 14 February 2014

It was late, we were tired and hungry from a long road trip returning home, and ready to settle for anything to eat. Imagine our surprise at the excellent food and service found at the Trail's End Restaurant. Tucked away past the C-store and the Subway sandwich shop is a pleasant, quiet sit-down eatery. We were warmly greeted by our waitress Kathleen, and when we asked for recommendations she was more than happy to go down the list of menu items and help us pick. The food was fantastic--our choices were the meat loaf dinner, country fried steak dinner and a fabulous gourmet-type hamburger. Everything is made from scratch, including the dinner rolls and hamburger buns. The portions were generous at a very affordable price. I think any meal you choose will be equally delicious. On Sundays they have a great buffet. If you live within a 30 mile radius of the Trail's End, it is worth the trip.
