Diane's was an awesome breakfast spot, but it closed down in late 2013. Lunch and dinner where quite good too.

3 of us drove from Las Vegas to look at this place back a couple of years ago. They had an ad on Craigslist to sell it. The price in their ad was not the same story when we got there. However, it was only worth what the ad said. This woman who owned it had a sorry excuse for a husband to say the least. You could tell he had no interest in helping her and was what I would call a complete couch potatoe. The place was dirty, kitchen a mess (staff obviously didn't clean). The husband was laying around in a back room watching TV. On our way back to Las Vegas I was saying "you know, she made a big mistake not negotiating with us because she is going to be out of business soon".

If you enjoy good home cooking, don't miss this place! Love it! Don't skip the desert. The coconut frenetic pie is to die for.

My husband and I had been looking forward to eating here for quite some time so when we finally got there and had a less than average experience, we were very disappointed. I ordered one of the specials, chicken and dumplings, which had nice flavor but it was Luke warm, at best. Also ordered a side salad and got a tiny little salad with wilted, slimy cucumbers on it. My husband ordered the steak sandwich (medium) and got a well done piece of meat on a bare bun. He also ordered soup as an appetizer but got it with his meal and ordered milk and got water. Also made the mistake of sitting in the smoking section although "non smoking" didn't look much better.

What a find! We went to the travel/information center in the area. The gentleman at the center gave us two recommendations and we chose the right one. The 50's diner look was charming and so much fun. Good food, good service. The home made chips were yummy!! Down home and We would definately go back, if we were in the area traveling.
