Located right next to the freeway on a very small property, we were skeptical what would be inside. We were very pleasantly surprised, but should not have been based on the quality of this chain. The lobby was bright, welcoming and gleaming clean. Our room was quite large and roomy, comfortable and attractive. The bed was very comfortable and the air handling system was great in terms of temperature control and white noise to hide the road sounds from the nearby highway. The breakfast was one of the best I have had at this level hotel - including cooked oatmeal, waffles, eggs, grits, etc in addition to cold cereals and pastries. It was nice to have internet usage, parking and breakfast all included in the rate.
This hotel is only 5 minutes from Forest Park and the wonderful St Louis Zoo and equally close to the botanical gardens. It is a very easy drive to the arch and other downtown attractions.

Excellent, excellent! The entire facility is kept top notch and exceptionally clean. Perfect room and amenities. Had a burnt bulb and they were there to change it in less than 5 minutes! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and this is everyone all the time, even when using elevators or passing in the hall. The evening snack and breakfast had very good selections, more than ample amount, presented and refilled perfectly. Attached to Bartolino's, a premier restaurant, and just blocks from the Hill, hiways 40,44 and all forest park has to offer. Just over 5 minute drive to Brentwood Blvd, Fontbonne, Wash U, Galleria mall and Trader Joe's. Perfect location and hotel stay!

Room Tip: best value in the area.

We have stayed at this hotel twice while visiting St. Louis. It is a convenient location for us, the rates are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. A big plus for us is the included breakfast buffet and the "kick back" meal in the evening. Last time we were there we had to ask to have a few lightbulbs replaced, but it was handled promptly and we were even asked what would be a convenient time for us to have it done and it has taken care of during that time.

This hotel was a fantastic refuge for our 8 night stay as our daughter was in the hospital at St. Louis Children's. We opted for a 2 room suite which was great when we needed the fold out sofa for our daughter to stay with us the first 2 nights but maybe unnecessary for the other 6 nights. I love the extra space though. The room was clean and roomy. At first, I was concerned as the window looked right on I44, but the freeway sound was never an issue. At all.

The staff is super friendly. From front desk to room maintenance and cleaning to breakfast servers and bartenders - all of them have great attitudes and are welcoming. That certainly makes a difference.

We didn't fully take advantage of the food and drinks, but it is a huge bonus. Breakfast looked good and their coffee was really good with Sweet n Low and real half and half available. We took advantage of the happy hour wine two nights and the wine was just fine. The complimentary evening food looked good as well and would definitely suffice for a full dinner.

The only - ONLY - cons I would comment on would be that our room telephone was not working and the room thermostat doesn't really even out. The air conditioning certainly works well, but it will cool down a LOT and then shut off and get warmer. It's a little loud for my preference so I just shut it off at night and slept fine.

Finally, if you are staying at this hotel for a hospital visit, make sure you book a hospital rate with the front desk. It will save you a bunch of $$ and is greatly appreciated! We'll be staying at this Drury Inn on our next hospital visit in December. Less than 10 minutes door to door from St. Louis Children's and super close to restaurants on The Hill and to Forest Park.

The hotel is kind of squeezed in next to I44. It is not large, but is very nice for this range of hotel. I believe it is only about 5 years old. All the staff were very courteous. The hotel was clean in all areas that we were in and about. The bathrooms were very nice. The beds were comfy. We stayed on a weeknight. In town to utilize Barnes Jewish Hospital for dad's surgery. They an evening meal and drinks on the Wednesday night we stayed. Odd combination of choice, being pasta with meatballs or hotdog and nachos. Three free alcoholic drinks. Free fountain drinks and coffee. But, hey, it was complimentary. Also a complimentary breakfast of biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, saugage, belgian waffles, cereals, fruits, etc. We were very pleased with the hotel and would recommend it to anyone. Stayed there because of Barnes discount and my parents smoke, so only one of a few smoking rooms in the area.
